Listening live in Melbourne...how's it playing out from the crowd perspective ?

Atmospheres a bit quiet but very professional performance so far. Bench has been good with Frank, bowden and washy. Leaving them on the floor in the tackle so can see us really pulling away in 2nd half

Fantastic game and atmosphere barring the last 15, I'm angry that we let them score 3 more. 1 I could understand. But down a man and to score three is poor. May seem pedantic but it was sloppy by Hull

Watching Dragons and Wigan. Hull will need to play for 80 mins in both games !!

It was a great game! hadn't been that excited for a game for a looooong time! sloppy in the last 15-20 mins but i think that's something we can work on.

Felt a little bad for Washy that he couldn't get the ball over but he was close lol.

Great atmosphere and fantastic way to get the crowd jumping (the opener)

Just a quick question, we're our fans & the Salford lot kept apart? from where i was, it looked like they we're allowed to sit with each other.

Salford fan in peace : -Only listened on radio Humber so can only go off what I heard. You guys sounded really good and look like you might actually fulfil your promise this year. Was unsure before the match as you always seem to go on about a big pack dominating, but you actually seem to have some backs to finish off now.
Good luck for the season ahead. Hopefully we get a bit more up to speed, we sounded way off and struggled today.

Good win great first 60. Fonua and Manu went off injured, hope they're not too bad.

Easy win. Last 15 mins a bit sloppy but in general we were dominant in all areas. Good start hopefully any knocks not too bad. Thought Green and Bowden were as good if not better than the starting props which is encouraging.

Manu didn't come back on.
Three tries conceded at the end with a man down is very sloppy.

Got to be pleased with that, very, very dominate, eased up and got sloppy towards the end, which takes some gloss off the win, but for 60 minutes we looked excellent.

Hats off to Hatton and the team as the players looked in great shape and players like Green and Bowden fitter, faster and stronger.

Though Houghton was outstanding, Taylor's first spell as good as I've seen, big Frank is a beast and also Thompson and Bowden looked much improved.

Shaun looked very dangerous and Carlos looks to have some real class about him.

Got to agree with Staffs. Green and Bowden were great tonight. That carry from Frank where he got held up was celebrated like he scored a try. Carried 6 men 15 metres, brilliant stuff.

Sadly you are mistaken.

Limping quite badly on the lap of honour. So was Fonua.

Bowden was arguably the best prop on the pitch. Made excellent metres and bent the line.

Very good win. We looked excellent for an hour, dangerous in the opposition 25. Disappointing last fifteen to twenty minutes but that shouldn't take the shine off an impressive result. Salford will go well this year.

Some good individual performances. Scott Taylor was very powerful and Frank Pritchard simply awesome.

I thought he was outstanding - and good to see him playing without any strapping on his legs.

Great start to the season

Well impressed with Houghton after being a big critic of his last couple of seasons

Sloppy last quarter, hopefully radford will get that sorted out asap

Salford's number 6, lui looks a great signing and so does their number 11, although looks like he could get wound up easily

Thought the ref let the game flow well even if Salford abused the offside rule nearly all game

Onwards and upwards

Not a bad game i thought. Salford didnt get a look in for the middle 40 when we scored our points then took our foot off the gas which sort of slightly soured the end.

Hightlights were the forwards, Thompson went well i thought but im a little concerned about the Logan/Fonua side which looked rather suspect defensively
