Not sure how we line up, we're scraping the barrel with the recent suspensions and player exits.

If Houghton is back I think we need Balmforth or Hodgson on the bench. Think Walker could be back too

I know I sound like a broken record, but will be really interesting to see if Balmforth, at last makes the squad, different eyes to Smith, Cummins will know he better than anyone.

Wouldn't surprise me if Hodgson makes the squad over Balmforth

Certainly not expecting a victory this week. More interested in seeing who is selected by Grix and how the overall performance and structure is from the team. Might give us an indication of who was out of favour, what kind of support Smith had in the dressing room etc. I'm hoping for some kind of upturn even if it's miniscule.

Yeah, you can't knock the effort that lad puts in when he pulls on our jersey. One of our clubs all time greats. And our only man of steel winner.

2 defeats on the bounce for Saints. Are they in dissaray or are we gonna feel their wrath?

Been a very good player but wouldn’t have him as a all time great,just my personal opinion.

Just tackle 52 alone puts him in that catagory. And then there's the thosands of other tackles he's made.

He may not be as classy a hooker as Jackson or Swain. But his effort every single game puts him in their ballpark.

A mere 2 games on the bounce, oh to be in such a rosy situation.

I concur, think Ese'ese will likely be doing big minutes. Glad to see Balmforth in the 21 man squad too after Smiths departure, as think he'll be needed considering Houghton isn't 100% with his rib injury yet.

Saints on the ropes and are there for the taking Think it will be close, with only 52 points in it this week.

This is the weakest and most inexperienced squad we have had all season. Our bounce back may take a few weeks to start.

Going to put my neck out there and say Ese’ese goes down as a very good signing and we get 5-6 years out of him. Think he’s looked good in a very poor side. Just need to teach some players how to run on to his offloads

No ockunbor on Friday , big blow for our noisey neighbours as well just when they get some tough fixtures, Lewis out for a while for them .

Anything under 50 I'll take, which seems to have become our benchmark this year!!!
We're on a hiding to nothing here, saints will be itching to show they are not a spent force, and we are in disarray after events over the past two weeks.

I would just like to see us having a spirited dig. Make it at least look like we've remembered that we are supposed to tackle the opposition when they have possession, don't simply watch the other side run through gaps a mile wide with no one even laying a finger on them!

If they manage even that simple basic feat, it will be an improvement on what we witnessed in the previous four games.
Praying for a miracle from somewhere, but simply hoping to avoid an annihilation!
