Surely, with "his team" Agar can't go with the proven tripe he did last season, not even a fool would do that.

Lauaki I see as a prop/backrow. I personally don't want Dowes in the pack, he would be a weaker option for me. So I would name Moa/Lauaki on the bench as the props but when Lauaki comes on Fitz could actually play down the middle with lauaki playing wide and then there is no need for Dowes to play.

I wouldn't bet against that Standee!!!

He'll either have Fitzy or Radders at 13....both wasted there in my opinion. Would rather have Fitzy in 2nd row with washy at 13.

Again a good option and a good use of the bench, would that mean Fitz has to 80 minutes though? I'd personally prefer a Dowes/O'Meeley and Moa/Cusack combination at least at the start of the season to see how it goes.

I would always have Whiting in the 17 because he can do a job in almost any position.
In the unlikely event of ever being at full strength I would go for

If Berro is going to play 80 some weeks i reckon we could put Tickle on the bench in place of Houghton. I also agree with the post earlier that said horses for courses.

Could combine Radford and Fitz to sepll the 80 mins.

If Dowes starts then Lauaki plays in the back row then he and Manu would be the two to spell each other so they would not play at the same time. Plus it means it is more likely that Washy would be dropped to keep Radford in.

I wouldn't have Radford in the team though. If he is in the team then I agree that playing Dowes is a bit of overkill. As I said earlier I would go with....

With Hame on the bench to come on for Manu after about 20 mins then after 30 minutes bring Manu back on for Fitz or Washbrook (whichever needs a breather most). If Hame is struggling before half time just bring Fitz/Washy back with a similar pattern in the second half. This would mean that Hame and Manu are both on the pitch at the same time for that last 10 minutes before half time/Full time and I would also bring Moa on so all the Tongan Mafia are on at the same time.

Looks good to me although I have a feeling we will see either Radford or Fitzgibbon at loose forward.

I will just be happy if Agar has selection headaches all season.

I agree that you cannot have all 3 impact players on the bench at onetime. I would always have Manu in the starting line up. You can then rotate the bench and have at least 1 impact player on all game with the Aussies bringing a steel to the pack. It must be the most varied pack we have had for sometime. We are not relying on 1 forward to make the impact like previously with Manu or Carvell. I think injuries are bound to play apart with us next season we always do so i suspect quite a lot of the time the decision will be already made for Agar.

What about Radford, you think he's going to be 18th man every week, no way, his ego wouldn't allow it.

He'll play because of inevitable injuries.

He'll be in the starting lineup every week, unfortunately (just my opinion)
