I don't disagree, and we certainly haven't come close to making the best of a bad job, but I don't see the point in pretending that there aren't some significant factors that don't include the basic quality of the squad.

4 of tonight's squad didn't start the season as Hull players. 3 have spent significant time on the sidelines. We should be better, but we do have major absences to contend with.

which is why we are average. plus the loss of players through injury. Maybe some people expect too much. I never thought we'd get a win tonight with that team on paper. No matter how poor leeds were. You have to remember that hull had an average team out and some people expect way too much

We need a quality 1, 6,7 & Prop to get anywhere near top 4 .

Ref was appalling but hull werent much better,hope we get a General signed for next season that can lead the team around a bit

Moving a couple of players around and playing a few fringe ones really doesn't alter the simple facts that we should be reasonably organised, particularly with the fact that we had our 1st choice half backs and hooker. it doesn't stop seasoned pros playing with some aggression and enthusiasm, nor does it stop players supporting the ball carrier, making dummy runs or chasing kicks down effectively. You can make all the excuses you want but the facts are that the team is far from being as effective as it should be

You carry on ignoring facts so you can paint a darker picture than necessary. Things are bad enough without making them out to be worse.

Yes I do also think that Pearson's RL knowledge is still limited, but so long as Gentle picks/has picked the right players that's what matters.

The only thing we'll win this season is the "greatest lack of attitude" award.
