I don't anyone actually believed Rule would take him to court and it was embarrassing every time Rule mentioned it.

Rule did dictate a letter to Cooke asking him to nominate a legal representative with whom the club could enter correspondence. What happened from there I have no idea, but the letter was definitely posted the same day. The intent was there.

Following someone on twitter doesn't necessarily mean your are a fan or a supporter. It means you are interested in what they have to say, surely?

Cooke is an interesting figure, arguably the most important player in the city over the last decade; a pivotal player in winning the cup and ensuring Rovers survival, then add in the hugely controversial transfer, criminal conviction, being effectively sacked by Rovers. He's full of himself, still. We've never really got to the bottom of the transfer. I'm interested to hear his side, particularly now Rule and Kath are so discredited. Doesn't mean I like him or believe him, but I do find him interesting.
