Last season I wanted Radford out. This year I was happy to give him a second chance, but that's just about that now. That second half can't all be laid at Radfords door, but it's obvious we are going nowhere with him in charge.

Sadly he's going nowhere though.

I'm by no means absolving the players of all blame, but it's odd how with so many new players we have exactly the same issues as last season. Almost as if there was some common factor at work.

Leeds were very good, don't want to take it away from them. But once we went behind we threw the towel in. I don't care if we are playing Australia. 43 points in a half isn't acceptable.

Been the same for years under various coaches. Hardly a common factor. I couldn't care less if Radford goes but I'm not naïve enough to think it will make that much difference. I can remember how players played under Agar and Gentle.

The common factor being crap coaches, of which Radford is simply the latest iteration.

I agree him going won't make any difference if he's replaced by someone of the same calibre, but bring in a decent coach and it would improve us.

Why can't the players play like they were coached in the first two games ? Is it really the coaching that varies so much week to week or is it the players ?
In reality it is a mix of things. I hope we get a top coach in. But he will change some players without doubt. Our team is not top class and hasn't been since 2006.

We need pace , Leeds went around our players with ease.

I've never claimed we have a top class side just waiting for a decent coach to unleash their potential. And saying that the coaching varies week to week is missing the point. What's happening is that the overall coaching and leadership at the club is inadequate, which leads to these up-and-down performances over the course of the season.

A good/great coach gets the best out of the players we have. I don't believe that Radford is capable of doing that. I don't believe he has the nous to address our failings, either in terms of coaching the current squad or recruiting the right players going forward. He simply isn't up to the - admittedly huge - job of turning this club around.

Yep. And he got rid of our best attacking player in Ben Crooks and persists with Yeaman who is finished.

And I'm not buying the short turnaround excuse, we had two weeks to prep for salford and was equally as gash!

I think too many people are blaming Westerman, granted he couldn't catch Watkins (I think it was) at the break, but how is a loose forward expected to keep up with a centre, get a grip. Also for me Mini had a solid game, great runner

Short turnaround a bit of a factor in losing Sa and Watts maybe, but can't attribute a 0-43 second half to it.

On the plus side - I thought Lineham had his best game for a while and Pryce was pretty good.
