The better side that couldn't score a point and conceded 22, hmmmm, who writes such blinkered carp? We had a good bit of pressure in the first half for about 10 minutes or so, yet never looked like scoring.

No. I commented at the time to those around me that we could have been there all night and not scored. We had no idea in attack and their defence was brilliant.

I could cope with all of that, but what really stood out for me was when we were awarded a scrum in their thirty early in the second half and the players were strolling to it like we were 20 points up. That's not the sign of a side that's chasing the game - a side that's fully committed. I'd have liked to have seen them running to form the scrum in a bid to at least get some points on the board and salvage some pride. As it was, they were just running the clock down.

We were outplayed, given absolutely nothing by the officials and had six out. Could have been a lot worse - disappointed yes, surprised - no.

Getting to be a standard response, yet we never see any changes except when enforced by injuries.

More or less everything he says after defeats is spot on in terms of what happened. Snag is, as you say, he seems unable to address the issues. Most of our quality players were sat behind the dugout last night, but the 17 on the field, to a man, should have been sweating blood for 80 mins. Not all were unfortunately and the coach is responsible for that IMO.

He's right, we did have a number of blokes who need to perform a lot better, as we have had on too many occasions this year. The scariest thing though, is that that number is/has been far too close to 17 to attribute it to just a few bad eggs.

In general on last night, I went into the game expecting is to be soundly beaten. What bugged me about it was the manner in which we were totally outclassed and out-enthused, yet again.

Another thing I question: The game was gone by half time, and a a complete bust shortly after. So why did Nicklas have to wait so long to get on? Why not give the lad a bit of game time to gather experience? He certainly wouldn't have let us down any more than most last night.

Peter Sharp was exactly the same. Very good analysts, questionable motivators?

This is the root of the problem for me, and we never make any progress on addressing it. It's like Groundhog Day - the same problems with the same analysis and the same lack of ideas on getting things right. Depressing stuff.

Maybe just maybe he had to go with the tactics he did because he knows the players that came in arent good enough....im not defending Agar,you know my feelings on him,Just that the likes of Hall,Burnett arent upto to scratch and you can add Washbrook,Turner to that group.

The tactics should be simple and tight with the team we had out you're dead right. But where was the intensity needed to carry out those tactics ? We were soft again as we always are when we get hammered.

Looking at the continual poor performances error wise you'd probably have to say poor coach too. Things are not being rectified.

At least with Sharp his teams where hard to beat and the defence was very good....motivator not so much...Agars defence is woeful and he could put a glass eye to sleep motivatinol wise
