I have not criticised the effort and performance tonight it was phenomenal, only the fact that we have not picked up any points from the last three games and i think we have blown our chances of a top four finish.
We should beat Wakefield but i dont think that will be enough for us to retain a top four position

Tremendous effort to come back from 6-20 to 22-20. The team showed great character and determination. The stuff Grand Finals are won on. However we have a real challenge now to make the play-offs.

Next week will be tough against a very good Wakefield side. As for Cas, well they may rest some key players, who knows, but their home record is excellent.

Sadly I think six home defeats especially those to Leigh, Catalans and Huddersfield will ultimately cost us.

I agree. There have been too many very poor performances this year and if we don't make the 4 it's our own fault.

Can't fault the effort last week or this week however. We've come close but come away with no points, injuries, suspensions and a lot of effort expended.

100% agree. Been a difficult run in with the Leeds game scheduling and a controversial red card but Leigh/Cats the real problem. Been some great performances this year though, tonight's right up there.

This is true. If we end up in fifth, that would be a big disappointment having been in the top four for much of the season but we have another Cup win. Two out of six trophies in two seasons is pretty special when you think we went from 1985 to 2015 with just a Challenge Cup and a Premiership Trophy win. Just four years ago many fans were elated at finishing sixth.

Yes that's right. There are still several permutations where we can make it with a win and a loss, but none are particularly likely. Just got to make sure we beat Wakefield, and then we will know what's what.

I think Hudds will give it a good crack against Saints, as they can still finish 5th (if they beat Salford tomorrow) and that would be a good boost for them.

If Saints are going to slip up against anyone it will be Hudds, who have still been playing OK. Salford are completely shot.

But that's not how the champions are defined is it. These 30 rounds are just jostling for position. It would be like awarding the race in F1 to the guy who was quickest in practice and qualifying.
