he's 32 next month, not exactly that old, was good enough for the Aussies in the world cup and still a quality player in the NRL, the step down to superleague will only extend his career, and his pocket....

Like others have sed just coz we av signd fitz dunt mean we are not signing others . He will bring alot of leadership which is missing in abudance . Other people have bin on bowt signing matt orford he is bowt same age so would he b bad signing dont tink so . Might + hope should signal end of radford . He's not what we need. He's a good captain, but he's a plodder. And we have plenty of those. He might be younger than Menzies, but they are completely different type of players.
If he was complimenting what we already have, then it would be worth tieing up a quota place & a chunk of the salary cap on him, but he's not.

This is not about who we signed but the fact that he is a forward. To balance this signing we need an outside back preferably a no7.
With Finch being linked with Huds whats the betting we finish up with Robinson instead of Finch.

We can and do complain about far less on here.

I don't know why people get so wound up by signing someone who is over 30. The man played for Aus last year and clearly has a good season or 2 left in him. Alright, we have plenty of backrowers AT THE MOMENT but i hoping Fitz is the first of a few who are going to replace some of the plodders we have in the squad now.

Providing we make top signings in key positions (SH, SO/FB) i think his experience and leadership could be exactly what we need.

Don't understand why so many people have it in for him on here.

The problem for me is that we should be making it our priority to sign a SH and then sign whatever else we can. We messed about last year like this and missed out on Dobson, Smith at Wigan and before Visa Issues came about Todd Carney.

Take away his goal kicking and he don't do alot for me.
