I had three things, Top 6, win a playoff game and beat Leeds.

I am very happy how its gone, if we lose next week then I am still happy for this season.

Think we have a good chance next week with how the defense is going right now.

As long as they give it a real go next week then I will be happy with how the season has gone.

Improvements on and off the field have been massive this year.

All in all:

Reasonable league finish
Competed against all big teams apart from Wigan
Derby dominance
Occasional excellent performance
A play off victory

Just no cup run!

I predicted 6th and also wanted a playoff win and to see some youngsters being brought through. All boxes ticked so it's been a good season.

There is a good chance we could have Lineham, Crooks, Briscoe, Yeaman as our backline and all players to come through our youth system (or at least played under 20's).

Have heard very good things about Ryan Wilson who has just gone FT, good rugby family with his uncle being Rob Wilson and his two cousins both on Hull's books, the youngster Harry being very well thought of.

The under 16's has some outstanding talent, so if we can get a couple of players coming through in the next couple of year until these 16's are ready, it looks a very exciting future for Hull.

Anyone else have any names of players in the academy to look out for?

My expectations were similar to most - 6th place finish and a play off win the main two with a decent cup win being a nice addition (although that's always down to the draw). Happy to call the season a success and anything from now on is a real bonus.

Alex Starling and Jansin Turgot are the 2 stand outs from our Academy, there are others but with those 2 I'll be surprised if they don't play SL in all honesty.

Stalring is now full time and Jamie Shaul is too

I dont think hes played for the Academy yet but Brad Fash is a name to watch out for.

like many have said, the big bonus this season has been seeing so many young lads get a chance and NONE have looked out of place, young blood brought in by PG and more young blood to come so all looks absolutely cracking for the future of the club .
what we need now is for PG himself to imprint on the coaching team so when he final goes home he leaves a very steady ship and plan to run to
