I agree we SHOULD have heard something but it is in neither parties interest not to move on if, as you say, they do know.

Think its just taking longer because there is an extra process involved in this application. i.e looking into why the previous one was turned down and weighing up new the new information against the old.

To say the club are holding anything back is just plain stupid.

If the Crocker deal doesnt come off and the Lauaki one does, i'd be tempted to sit on the cash and just bide our time for the best players possible. If none come up and we are still competetive lets save the cash up.

Absolutely. They seems to be no reason why Lauaki wont get a visa its just a case of waiting but agree with the Crocker money should he fail.

What about next years overseas signings? Get them on board now and apply for their visa's to give them a fighting chance of been here for next February!

might be the only option. Something needs to happen though as players coming over on 1 or 2 year deals are effectively losing a quarter of their time of employment because of the over complex processes in place.

The way Cusack is playing i'd be tempted to offer him another 1 year deal too. Moa still has to prove himself for his extension. Lauaki will be here for 3 years i think.

It depends how active we are in the British market. Both LMS and Andy Lynch are ooc at the end of the year I would like to see us make a serious play to get hold of one of them.

good point. Up fron we will have Thacks, Dowes, Lauaki and Maloney for definate. I believe King and Cusack are ooc as well as Radford. Moa could still be here. We look top heavy up front already so im not sure what we will look to do. With Maloney we'd probably want 6 props, if we keep Moa and Cusack and King go we have probably 1 space and a big chunk of cash.
