Im slightly dissapointed only coming away with a point after that 2nd half effort,sounds like we really took it too them and player them in there half most of it.

Pens and errors our downfall but sound some very good positives, esp Johnson and our short kicking game

Chances missed , We put to much pressure on ourselves with penalties and mistakes again but.. we come away at Saints with a point .

Probably should have been two points but round 3 1 point will do. Things are picking up. Forwards still to come back - need to sharpen up our ball handling by the sounds of it.

Agreed, gifted St's 3 scores. Cut out the daft errors, calm it down a bit and stop killing ourselves with penalties & will do much better.

In fairness re penalties we got a few near the end they're given away when under pressure. We need to be crisper and make fewer handling errors - that in turn means we have the ball more which in turn means we defend less. You're more likely to concede pens when defending so the less you can do the better.

We came from behind tonight and that should seriously build confidence. Takes some doing at a place like saints.

Lineham for Crookes next week ?

Depends on the Warrington result, I suppose - three points from Saints away and Wire at home would be very good going.

Pulsating game, loads of positives. Johnson the pick of the forwards for me. Holdsworth giving us direction and some real shape in our attacking structures plus very good goal line scrambling defence. Pretty sure they knocked on in the build up to their 2nd try too.

The boys will be disappointed I reckon, deserved to sneak it. Chants of "One Shannon McDonnell" echoing round the multi-storey car park. After a Shiite week, we can be very proud of the team tonight.
