'HullFC may look for an interception here' what are Humberside on? why would any side leading go for an interception with minutes left??

Anyone who seriously expected us to be a top 4 side this season hadn't been paying attention for the last few years.

We've actually been pretty consistent this season and have done better than I, for one, expected. A crap game against our bogey side is no particular indicator of our progress or lack thereof IMO.

Yeah, it's disappointing, but not particularly worrying in the overall scheme of things.

I expected us to be about 6th, anything else is a bonus.

Our frequency of not turning up for games still concerns me, this is the 2nd time already this season (following Salford) that we have struggled in a game we would expect to easily win. Before we thought this was down to Agar's lack of ability to motivate the side, but the fact it is still happening under Gentle puts the spotlight on some of the players attitude IMO.

Very disappointing to be dragged down to the other team's levels, like at Salford but winning when you play shocking is a good habit to have. A lot of work to be done, but 2 points is 2 points and that's what matters.

Only 2 trys conceded and both from kicks, very impressive defence.

Russell sounded excellent in attack and defence.

Horne made a difference, at least with his short kicking game.

I recon under Agar we would have lost this game, and by quite few points.

After London being knocked out of the cup and the chairman's statement this week, they'd have been well up for this one. Defensively we were brilliant.

Two points is two points, even if we weren't at our best - we have plenty of gears to go up yet.

Last year under that clown we'd have lost today.

I do agree, however I still feel we have a few players who feel they can stroll on to the pitch some weeks and the 2 points are a given, which is something that needs to change if we want to be a consistent top4 team.

Didnt we do similar last year(albeit higher scoring), in fact snatching victory with a late surge ?

well actually that's because we were down by plenty in the same fixture last year and ran away with the game.
As much as I detested agar and his general ineptitude going back to every situation where you 'think' we would have caved in under someone other than gentle is just pee poor, just move on FFS!
