I'm not getting carried away after one game his problem is consistency and also getting a regular I still wouldn't be fussed if he stayed or not

On the evidence of last night I agree. He just needs to toughen up mentally imo, he suffers with confidence issues and some of that for me is in the mind with him. Last night he did just as good a job as Briscoe could have done.

I agree he did a good job last night...however I really am struggling with this confidence issues thing...he is a seasoned SL player..a big part of the performance on a rugby player is mental toughness, and that starts at around 15 yrs old when the hits start to get bigger...I have reservations about a long term contract for a player whose performance can be erratic depending on his confidence.

The only thing which I like about Hally is that he's probabley the only player in the squad that could go the length of the field if given the chance.

Well apart from Briscoe, the only trouble with briscoe though is he needs like 20/30 metres to get into his stride.

Turner ? Saw him do it when he played for Salford...shiit of a stick springs to mind.

Really I've seen him caught on numerous occasions when I thought he should of scored. IMO he's not a quick as some make out. Briscoe is quick and strong, exactly what you need to be to go the length of the field.

attacking wise he is fantastic.

More of an elusive runner than out-and-out blinding pace. Has good balance and is quick enough without being lightning fast.

absolutely cock on that statement, in actual fact he isnt that much faster than lets say RW but he has a great step and an uncanny knack of finding gaps that arent there!!

I seriously don't think RW could of shown that burst of pace down the wing for Hall's second try on Friday.

Hall's acceleration and step are his best attributes. He goes through gaps almost quite effortlessly due to his acceleration as he showed when Yeamo put him clear on Friday night. Over 30/40 yards he is pretty quick, any longer than that he could get caught but the more faster players in SL.
