On reflection when I stated we have a stronger squad I was talking bollox.

Did Hull not capitalise on Leigh's errors? We were clunky 2nd half you know.

For me that was not even an average performance it was so, so below average particularly in the first 30 minutes Leigh out enthused us totally and for a visiting team to do that against us with the players we have and with over 10,000 FC supporters there just wanting to see some effort its very worrying . Leigh are a good team but we should have beaten them yet after around 20 minutes none of us in there were in any doubt that the game was lost. Our discipline is appalling really (Tony Smiths words as well as mine) and with the teams that have strengthened this season and the competitiveness of the division that was relegation form, no doubt about it we should be very afraid I feel. The thing is we have so many good players who are just looking like they are tossing it off for periods in games. To be honest and some will say it's early days but we are a quarter of the season in and we have seen two performances as bad as we have see at the stadium since we moved there. Brian Smith is a great Coach he has however only signed one player and boy it shows as the same old same old is seen comes from the rest. With the games coming up these are worrying times I predict a valiant defeat at Warrington and then back to normal.

Our sets are an absolute joke and we are totally clueless and unorganised. How many times are we caught on the last because we haven’t the brain power to realise it’s the last and not organised enough to able to put a kick in. Talking of kicking that’s another part of our game that is severely lacking.

Im also starting to think that we've been so bad for so long that we've collectively forgotten what good players look like, like what position does Joe actually play and is he in fact a good Rugby player? Or was he just one of the few players who were putting an effort in a year ago and looked slightly better than the rest of the dross?

Hodgson absolutely ruined this team - God knows what he was doing but the team went backwards every game to the point of playing the worst rugby ive seen since we was relegated.

He isn’t truthful though at half time he said Hull need to put pressure on Leigh and the dam will break with zero recognition that hull are poor and anyone that throws the ball about will break them easily

To be fair to Leigh they are a decent team and deserved the win. As a matter of interest when do you play them?

We have been so poorly coached and managed for sooo many years that the has now hit the fan in a major way. Hodgson destroyed this club imo and there is no way the same set of players can be rejigged into a decent outfit again. The season is over, we wont get relegated but we will finish bottom 2-3 and be hammered all season. We are Warrington last year. Weve just got to suck it up and let Tony try and sort the club out - lets hope he can and hes not one job too far and a coaching dinosaur that should be extinct as there is also that worry there too.

Having so many players off contract and Warringtons transformation is about the only shred of hope I'm clinging to right now.

He's improved every club he has coached and if he can't turn things around here I don't know who can. He has inherited a squad full of bang average players and it's going to take some sorting out.

This season is a write off and next season will probably be tough as well.

He needs to be given time and we need to be patient.

You’ve also lost your two best players imho (Mau and Connor). Tony will strip it right back to basics and build from ground zero. Will take longer than at Leeds or Wire as squad overhaul needed too. Give him 2-3 yrs and you’ll be competing for trophies again…..
