it`s not bad,but call me old fashioned,i prefere our traditional irregular hoops.

They can't so that every year, though, and expect sales to be good. I suspect we will have a more traditional shirt in 2015.

I would imagine sales of the new shirt to comfortably pass the 2013 one.

Nice design, but it is just a 'stock' ISC design! another cost saving measure me thinks. Same as City have done for the last 2 seasons with Addidas. You get a sportswear company to design you a 'one off' it will cost a whole lot more to produce than to just run off a 'standard' in our colours. I like it though, better than last years without a doubt.

Now whos going to have a go at me for suggesting ISC have the same generic design for all clubs?

They are by far the best manufacturer of RL shirts, who cares if they recycle designs, at least the designs they recycle are decent.

I'd much rather have a decent ISC template than the shocking kits that were served up for Huddersfield/Salford/Rovers...etc.

I've never understood the furore around shirt design and whether its a stock design or someone else has had similar previously???

If you like it, you buy it. If not you don't. All shirt manufacturers seem to have stock designs that they ply to clubs in all sports, a lot of football shirts seem very similar, just in different colours.

Is it black and white? - check
Does it have irregular stripes? - check
Does it have the Hull FC badge on? - check

I couldn't care less if Leeds or Pontefact fire brigade 2nd XIII have had the same kit in previous years but in their colours.

I certainly think its nicer looking last years shirt, so might get one.

So what happens around the shirt design?

Do ISC say "you gett his sthis year thats it"

Would imagine the club get a set of options to chose from, and I'd imagine the club will give an indication early on whether they want a traditional or more experimental design.

As for kit templates, just watch the world cup next year.
Nike and Adidas just use the same kit with different colours.

It does mate , the hoodys look good aswell and apparently are selling very quick in adult sizes . Just got shirt n hoody ( going to be put away now fort Santa look after for Xmas)

I wondered about White Star for the 150th as it was the original shirt but I think I would prefer the classic simple Black and White Irregular Hoops. As we seem to be able to dream up any excuse for another shirt maybe this should be an occasional shirt or the away shirt.

I like it more than this years home shirt, like others have said would assume a more traditional one next year.
Will wait and see the away and Whiting's testimonial shirt before considering getting one.

I'm not keen on it. As I have plenty of Hull shirts I think I'll give this one a miss; there's no need to get one every year.

However if I like the away one I might get one of them.

The original club shirt was scarlet and white hoops (can't see us switching to that

Hull FC merged with Hull White Star around 1880 and played in an all black shirt.

Not keen on mainly black kits so will stick with my old one
