Well it has got us a better squad for next season with some of the deadwood about to be shipped out too, that's a start.

My point is that it's not our decision to make. If we really want to get the coach out then all we can do is protest after of before games where the effect can be felt by the club, the directors and the sponsors. The last time it worked was with Wire and Cullen, although they only ended up with Lowes at the time eventually they got a top class coach.

Can you really say everyone of them is putting in the effort even agar is saying alot of them are not

Some are putting the effort in, Some are putting the effort in but are not good enough (cant expect anymore than that from them surely) and the rest arent

You taking the mick arnt yeah ...they where one of the whipping boys and in dire straits of finishing where hull are and then tony smith has took over and they have improved ten fold since he has took over and have been playing ATTRACTIVE Rugby and are WINNING alot more games now that Smith has taken over.

In their last 8 SL games they are won 4 lost 4.... and the 4 teams they've beat.......

With the players at his disposal that record hardly makes Tony Smith top class.

And we're 2 from our last 8, making Tony Smith twice the coach Agar is.

ahh right well we won 2 of our last nine and that was against Salford who would have won if it wasnt for such a dodgy decision to get a try dissallowed and the celtic crusaders who we only beat because there couldnt rotate there bench due to three of them being injured ....but yeah if you think agar is the man hell you keep supporting the guy.

Ha Ha beat me 2 it and tony smith COULDNT BRING ANY OF HIS PLAYERS IN and didnt have a preseason to get everything sorted out, and had very little time in picking up a squad low on confidence and to put the icing on the cake he actually went to kr and actually BEAT THEM

Why are you not looking at the whole record since he took over, why just the last 8 games? Is that what suits your argument?

If TS had been there for the start of the season they would be in the top four.

Because it's pretty well known when a new coach takes over things improve (even Agar improved things here at first), We want a coach that provides success over long periods not just the quick fix.

I'll give you Leeds but there again that group of players don't take much coping, but what did he achieve at Huddersfield?

How many times had Leeds won the GF before TS turned up? Exactly, then they win in 2004 and 2006.

Hudds were a nothing club and TS built it up from the bottom.

If you would not be happy with TS as the Head Coach of Hull then I don't know who you would be happy with.

Never said I wouldn't be happy with him here, it just makes me laugh the way some people on here use his appointment by Warrington as a stick to beat our board with. Fact is he still hasn't achieved anywhere near the sort of success FC fans would expect, christ Peter Sharp took a team with about half as much potential as the current Warrington side to Old Trafford and the FC fans wanted his head on a plate.

The point is not what Wire are doing or have done, the point was they do now have a proven top coach who will run the club his way, play good rugby and will deliver on the pitch.
