Im sorry but for me 46 tries in 58 games speaks for himself, cant be all that bad with stats like that can he?

4 years ago he looked like he could be anything and I would have been happy to get him signed on then. He's disappeared from the radar since then and only just got back into Super League. His venture to Union and his injury in2008 won't have helped. He does need to look sharper but that "sluggishness" mentioned may just be something to do with not playing first grade for a while. He's got all of the physical attributes so he'd be at least an interesting signing. It's Maguire at Wigan that's brought him back as well and he's generally thought to be no mug.

Hall out, Sharp and Pryce in, would have to be seen overall as strengthening in the backs.

Ade Gardner probably has stats like that for Saints, wouldn't sign him either.

Well its been denied but for me he knows the way to the line and would see him as an OK signing it would mean that we aim to put Briscoe in the centre too however the problem for Pryce and Sharp is chillblaines because they won't see the ball unless a lot changes. I like the look of him or at least what I have seen of him of late but he has had the service then again outside backs are hard to find!

Pretty much my view, if it turns out we have signed him. If he's a direct replacement for Hall as EXPRO says, then I don't see how anyone could argue that it's not an improvement.

Wigan will probably bust 900 points this year - If Hull don't put 45+ on Leeds this'll be their 3rd straight year in the 500s. Plus when Pryce played for Bradford they were still amongst the top teams and scored a ton of points - more than 1000 in 2005.
Not that I'm going to put too much effort in to running him down until it is confirmed - we might sign him yet!

On the transfer front, has Rule ever lied to us about them on Airlie Night? Because someone said that it's been denied by the club, and afaik the club has a decent recent history on this front. So if it has been denied, I'd take that to be the truth, over the scrawlings of a few anonymous posters on the internet (this isn't a pop at specific people, it's just that over my time here it's become obvious that we have a few people who lie or have lied to make themselves seem important and in the know, or acted like their word was gospel).

the fact he has only played 13 superleague games in the last 2 years (4 years if you count his failed union experiment) speaks for itself to me, I'd stay clear if I were you, another player with a dubious injury record is the last thing you need imho
