I'll be disappointed if more than 9 are, and amongst those are some of the better performances tonight IMO. I'd say that our bench has massively let us down tonight ( but I'm in no way saying that's been the only problem), we got worse as we started to make changes, and none of the bench should be in next year's first 17.

No. I'm suggesting that when you've had to use as many players in a season as we have it's going to be difficult to maintain consistency in training. And when you have large changes in a short space of time it's further disrupting. And when the replacement players are, by and large, not as good as the ones they replace the quality of the side drops.

Don't get me wrong - we have way too many average or poor players in the squad. But there are other significant influences on how we're playing right now.
