As predicted, there was no need to panic (or queue overnight).

All part of the big occasion. Great to be doing this more regularly and having these sorts of challenges.

I hope everyone gets what they wanted but sounds so bloody stressful/frustrating for some not to mention having to queue for several hours.

True. This is our tenth semi-final/final on a neutral ground in thirteen seasons, I think. Hopefully more big game ticket buying being done in just over five weeks

We've got used to winning semis and the Keepmoat has been kind to us so hope we can keep that run going.

We could play Siddal in a 200000 stadium and some Hull fans would still panic, when will the fans learn not to panic it happens every time we play in a semi or final.

Talk of a "shambles" is just plain silly. The club aren't daft, they know what they are doing. Two tickets per member sounds wrong in principle but I bet the vast majority of members didn't take up the extra ticket. If the club had said North Stand tickets were on sale to members on Wednesday that would have made it awkward for people who have to go to work and who can't phone or go online for tickets.

They were damned either way. The semi is unlikely to sell out, they never do these days.

They shouldn't have started selling tickets to none pass holders before the members that's what's got people's goat up I asked James Clark about it today and he wouldn't answer it.

James Clark probably thought some people will moan about anything instead of enjoying the fact that we are in another Challenge Cup semi-final.

That's a fair point, but think the club are trying to maximise money, which I can't blame them and if this money helps our club compete in many more games like this then then it's the right decision.

Despite this decision everyone who wants a ticket will get one, so even though the decision was a strange one, it hasn't effected anyone so far.

I'm not disputing the fact that everybody could get tickets it's the fact that they were available to anyone on Wednesday before members that's the bug bear and I tried to get 3 on Wednesday without success so does make it right that all the other semi finalists were selling to members 1st for a few days just like we have done in the past.

But doesn't make it right though does it, should they have just put them on general said to anyone?

It honestly doesn't bother me, we as members still got tickets in a choice of stabs with a discount, maybe a bit unfair and hopefully they will learn from it, but the reaction towards the club has been way over the top.

Leeds allowed their passholders to buy an unlimited number of tickets, was that fair, or maybe they knew that there would be enough for everyone?

Leeds and Wigans' online ticketing system caters for away matches all season - something the SMC could easily do, but that's another story.

Tickets weren't on sale to non-members before members. The North Stand (where most fans would want to be went on sale to members only today with a £3 discount. They havent yet sold out. Honestly, I don't get your issue.

I laughed at people camping out after the game yesterday because I knew there was absolutely no need.
