Around christmas time I think this was said, always a long shot for this season but for next season..?

Tickle
Manu
Westerman

If we lose Lauaki and Fitz do you really want to replace them with untried youngsters in Green, Kent and Cunningham? Washy is cover for several positions and Burnett does not do it for me.

We need another backrower imo.

Because after Manu, Tickle and Westerman the rest aren't good enough or lack any experience.
Kent, Green and Cunningham need loan deals.

If I could sign any player from SL to improve our team Chase would be number 1.

Number 2 would be an ex player.

Number 3 would plays for our friends across the river.

I would tbh Paul, add Pearce as he's due to go to full time training soon.

Not sure if Chase is Agar's target but have been told that he has told the board he wants a new halfback pairing for next season.

Good news if true, finding 2 quality halfbacks will be hard though.

Keep Burnett or Washbrook, not both.

Burnett would be my choice.

Another year for Kent too.

Burnett wouldn't be my choice, far too inconsistent for someone who's been first team for 3 years.
Keeping Washy means we need another 2nd rower as Washy predominantly covers 6,9 & 13. Maybe Green does fit the bill, and send Cunningham out on loan.

Then we won't be competing i'm afraid. You can't let two top players go and replace them with four untried youngsters.

I would replace Fitz, Dowes and Lauaki with one prop, one backrower and then replace the third person with a couple of youngsters to share the load.

Would keep Washy over Burnett, can cover far more positions and is a good squad player IMO.

Some of the younger players need to come through soon, there is only one way they can get the experience required to be good enough at SL.

Would be happy if he did, however Lauaki and Phelps have to go if he does.

I do the same thing but sign 2 props instead of a backrower, this depends on were the club see Green playing.
If it's prop then I would do the same.

Think you will find Rich actually rates Obst as highly as can be rated so maybe a back up but not a replacement and on current form obst would be a mistake to replace too

Horney needs replacing.

obst and 'a' another...horney isn't as good has he ought to be, his kicking game has got worse and doesn't really do much. has about 2-3 good games a season and dine's on them. has to go for me, will free up ALOT of cash.

alot of money there to be spent....

Wouldn't disagree too much with that, although I have still not made my mind up about Lauaki, and Radders will be good for another year imo.

Disagree, we need a new 7 and utilise Obst the same as this year - hooker and back up half.

Horney played well this season, looking sharper each match and taking on the line well. We all know he doesn't have a long kicking game which is why we need a new 7 who can stay on the pitch and provide this.

Actually I would not be too unhappy with that, he is a class player.

if we aspire to win things then I agree.

His kicking game has deteriorated (it is poor now)..He has lost a lot of pace and often now makes the wrong decisions..He does have the odd good game, however if we want to challenge this is no where near good enough. I would be gutted if we give him a new contract.
