Why would they count the millenium fixture? That round is separate and every other team has played that round. come on its not rocket science

If Bradford cannot fullfill their remaining fixtures, the likely outcome is that all previous results, involving Bradford would be expunged. So our 2 points that we gained from them would vanish. That would then leave the anomaly of the Magic Weekend and the only fair way is to expunge [uall[/u points from that weekend too.

But then that gives an advantage to the teams they've beat previously. For instance we'd lose 2 points, Rovers wouldn't.

How is it separate? The points count in the league. And all the teams play every round.

What alternative is there? If you let the results stand then not all teams will have played the same number of games by the end of the season. And we'd most likely gain back the 2 points we dropped against Rovers in Manchester so there'd be no net advantage.

There is no perfect way to deal with a side that can't fulfil its fixtures. Why do you think the RFL are so hell-bent on Bradford finishing the season?

Someone on twitter at the supporters meeting in Bradford just said

"£430,000 is owned in tax to HMRC on top of the £270,000 we already owe in image rights"

All of Bradfords victories will count as defeats , so all who lost to bradford will be awarded two points.
All of bradfords remaining opponents will be given a two point bye.
Presuming of course , that Bradford dont fulfil there remaining fixtures.

Has anybody done the double over them yet? Or have they done it to anyone else? Those that they've already beaten get 2 points for the return match, those that have already beaten them don't get anything for the games left to play. That way everybody has lost 1 and won 1. Doesn't really solve Leeds' problem.

You realise that has the same net result as just expunging their results, right? And still doesn't solve the Leeds problem.

Voiding all Bradford's games would be the obvious one, if it weren't for the Magic round. Binning off that whole round and turning it retrospectively into an exhibition would make it an embarrassment and kill it very dead.
Least bad IMO would be a to count all Bradford's games past and future as 1-0 wins for their opponents. Slight advantage to Leeds, but they won the magic game anyway.

If you award everyone 2 points for the Bulls games it has the same net effect as awarding everyone 0 points, apart from points difference changes. I'm not sure there's a significant difference.

It's a cosmetic difference. The best way to cut a poop pie, IMO.
Leeds having played 24 when everybody else has played 25 just looks odd.

The only 100% fair way is to expunge all their results plus Magic Weekend. The extra PR hit compared with the Bulls being liquidated and unable to complete the season would be minimal.

Perhaps the RFL and the other clubs will allow a new Bradford club to take on Bradford Bulls' fixtures for the remainder of the season, should they be liquidated in the next week and should a new company be formed.

Whether they'd take their place in Super League next season is another question.
