to be honest despite my disappointment in tonight's performance, we'd find it hard not to be in the top 8, we are 8 points ahead of Wakefield, with only 6 games to go. We aren't good enough to do anything once in the playoffs though!

We have no scrum half. Dobson is in great form. Horne is just back from injury and hardly likely to set the world on fire judging by tonight's effort. Morgan has out-thought Agar time and again in derbies. You have a day more recovery than us. You beat Wakey last week facing pretty much the same team by 30 odd, we've just been beaten by them by 30 odd. But, other than that, yes, it all points to a "very very hard game" .

Just to note when they beat us 42-6 we were on a long unbeaten run and they were fighting for relegation and look what happened that day.

How many times recently have I heard 'oh you will stuff us' only for it to be an awful error strewn game and a horrible close scoring encounter.

Directionless performance tonight. No impact up front. Very disappointing.

And Ogre. They were speculating on RH that Fitz picked up an achilles injury as well as his ankle was bandaged up.

We have played mile's better missing Long in other games . Tonight's performance was one of the worst I've ever seen by a Hull team.

I've seen plenty worse but can't remember one where we had a team doing it with so many internationals on show

Something is very wrong with the playing side of the club. We simply should not be putting in so many performances of such a low standard with the squad we have. Agar needs to get a grip of it pronto.

derby game will be so different from tonight like every game is we have played dire this season then sometimes poor then we have been totally clueless some games we have not even looked interested so you get my gist.but seroiusly like yourselves performances they are very indifferent so its still 50-50 maybe swinging in your favour slightly confidence wise.

Coming out with a statement like that I'm guessing you haven't been to all that many derbies. It's not just a cliche that the form book goes out of the window.

Agar quite clearly cannot motivate the players, when Horne came on and went to acting half the first thing he did was pass the ball 5 metres behind any player near him, the kid is, I am afraid to say, shot.

Add in there abjectly dismal performances from just about every player and the worst refereeing display I've witnessed for some time and that just about covers it.
