Dowes and Radford both put in good stints today....i would leave out the big liability that is Lauaki.....Wires pack is a damn site better than Rovers pack and they will wind him up more.

A knock on the leg can hopefully be "run off", it was obvious to anyone apart from our medics that his problem wasn't a knock to the leg.

Personally I'd have brough Lauaki back in place of Briscoe, if for nothing else other than to put Webster into the 5th row of the best stand

I'm sure if you were getting head high tackles everytime you took the ball in, or had Newton holding your head on the ground whilst he rammed his head into your face you wouldn't react, would you? Rovers were $hit scared of Lauaki and the damage he could do, so set about om Morgans instructions to intimidate him with as much cheap illegal thuggery as they could manage and get away with, which due to Silverwood they achieved

Was annoying what Silverwood let Newton get away with all game but had Hame's card marked and even told him he was watching him so could not be as effective. He also had third and forth men hitting him with swining arms and knees which didnt bother the ref

As do all the refs. The Club need to be speaking with Cummings about the deliberate "winding up" that goes unnoticed, otherwise it's going to be difficult to play Hame because of the penalty count gainst him.

It's less important than ever to defend yourself in pro RL, particularly when the game is on sky with multiple camera angles. The game is a walk in the park compared to 50 years ago when it was legalised thuggery
