The shirt might look better under different light. Or no light at all, perhaps. Didn't think much of our away shirt either, in fairness.

That pic is fantastic though - looks like three lads have been told off in primary school. Connor (is it?) and Watts look like they're about to burst in to tears while Minicello is the footstamping tough nut doing sullen defiance.

Not my cup of tea but the missus loves it,we like a lot of the classic training gear as well so there will quite a few purchases in our household.

I like it and I'm sure it will sell like last years.

Let's hope so. I think retail topped £1.3m, and IMO both shirts are better than 2017's.

That away shirt is a disaster. The one colour they should avoid is red in any shade. This looks like one of those dobbin shirts that have been in the wash.

Though I would prefer we stuck to traditional colours on both shirts there have been some decent alternative colours - last year for example.

Have to say I really don't like the away shirt at all and even more so after seeing this pic in the HDM this morning!! Far to much like one of their shirts than a Hull FC one.

You get pink by mixing red and white, this ones not for me, I'm sticking with the new home shirt.

Yeh, I think I agree with you particularly on the subtle bit. . I wasn't impressed at all however before I'm in trouble, as for 'homo what not' bit I can't even spell it! I just didn't think it was us and I lament the way all this with shirts is going really, as it seems that every team seems to have one of their two that is in the 'who can be the most outrageous and most untraditional' faction (I was going to put most untraditional camp but didn't want to risk a ban)

However I went to see it today out of interest and I can see the appeal its so much better for seeing particularly as the colour is slightly different in the direction of being away from Pink towards scarlet/crimson and the horizontal lining shows up a lot more 'in real life' and makes it better. It will sell well I'm sure and was doing today but I much prefer the home shirt!

It will sell, and I think “tradition” is gone, but so is our tradition of not winning at Wembley, that’s a happy exchange!

Both kits are bad this season, but they will sell.

Not content with selling out to an identikit home shirt that doesn't even have hoops the away shirt is utterly rank and in no way shape or form can we identify ourselves in those colours/design.
Why not for next year we have this, it'll be just as close to what we have now to our club colours!


Won't be buying a jersey this year or for the foreseeable future until the club stop diverting away from the clubs traditional core colours/design.

There is no such thing as a traditional core coloured away shirt and our current away shirt is nothing like the rovers home shirt.
Yes it's pink but again nothing like a rovers shirt.
All these people complaining it's too close to red and rovers and paranoid and ridiculous.

no, i'm making an objection to the choice of design and colours, all you and some others seem to do is attack other posters for having a say about the club, players, coach, how we are doing and so on. oh wait, that's whinge, whinge, bitch, moan, deride, that's all you [ican[/i do isn't it!
