Sounded like radford wanted to rest a few for the next match but now can't because we lost yesterday. Really tricky period coming up where the season could collapse around our ears if we're not careful. We could be out of the 8 today or have 2 teams within 2 points of us. We could potentially be 10th by the end of next weekend

Playing the percentages I'd sack off the Leeds game next week, go all out for the cup game and pin our hopes on winning matches against the lower teams. Our record at Leeds is truly awful and don't see the point in expending a load of energy to be undone by McGuire in the closing stages.

I wouldn't expect him to say he was sacking off the Leeds game to the media tbf. Going to be loads of nonsense talked by the coaches in the next couple of weeks.

Sneyd was definitely off colour yesterday and Ellis was quiet.

Green and Feka had little effect. I would have liked to have seen Abdul on the bench.

With both Lineham and Shaul out the team was short on pace.

All in all a good effort though and if we'd been a bit smarter we would have won. I have felt a lot worse after defeats this season than I did last night.

Thought radford got it wrong. Obviously thought about getting on top them coming on strong later. But to me seems stupid to have paea watts Ellis &westy all sat down at the same time. Lost momentum and the match in that period. Also going for 2 killed us a bit. I'd of pressed them.
Bench was poor. Thompson forms dropped right off. Whiting gives the worst pens u could ever give away at the very worst times. Green is ok some games but useless others. Feka a luxury & effective in many games but not in a tight 1 like that

We field a weakened team and aren't competitive at Headingley then lose in the Cup and we are scratting about up in the air as to making the 8.

The way we (Leeds) are playing I reckon you've a very good chance of picking up the two league points and getting to the SF of the Cup so you've no need to be 'sacking' this game off

I agree. We're almost at full strength and playing with more confidence than we've seen in years. I think we'd be mad to take our foot of the pedal at this moment while we are within touching distance of 4th and still in the cup.

Agree. Shaul has an instinct to be in the right place at the right time. Watts broke 1 time n mini did and I'd of backed shaul to be there and finish. Our support play was well off again last night

No good all this ifs and buts, he should not have played /played. The side put up a great fight against the odds with the heat and the ref and could have won.We never and we move on. Only one side have won at their place this season and we were far from being poor.Why do some thrive od seeking out negatives??

Yeah, a very ordinary Cats team that's beaten Wire,Saints and put 50 on Wigan give your a head a shake,not as good as we have been but still deserved a point IMO.

Agree 100%. By saying how we lost because we blew chances is papering over the fact that it was suicidal to have for 25 mins (?) a middle unit of Green, Thompson and Feka, plus complemented by having Ellis off at the same time. If Catalan hadn't themselves blown a gilt-edged chance just after half time there would have been little chance for our run-on pack to salvage things.

I wouldn't want to put my house on Green or Thompson making a crucial one-on-one tackle if need be.
Love Feka as a person/player but he is so immobile in defence it is uncomfortable to watch at times.
As you say Whiting is an expert at giving away pens on the 4th or 5th tackles, which is strange for a "smart" player.

TBF to Radford he is having to learn on the job and he will have learnt a lot last night. It's a shame as I personally think he has generally the right idea in trying to shake the club out of mediocrity.
