I am not sure who is advising AP but clearly they are relying on blind faith of the supporters however I fear this may bite them on the backside.

I am not shocked that Gentle has gone and from a personal perspective I have mixed feelings, I have witnessed some of the best rugby I have seen for years (semi) and some of the poorest. If the dressing room has been lost then unless Gentle got the support to root out the problem/deal with the problem then sadly he was on a loser and my understanding is he knew this and walked.
A lot of people supporting Radders and claiming he will take no te and players will play for him etc, well my problem with this is if this was true why has this not happened already ? He was Gentles right hand man ffs! so why did he not have the players playing ?
AP is either getting the wrong advice/does not understand what has gone on in the past/is just bloody ignorant/or is smoking crack!
If these rumours materialise I shall not renew my pass next year, I will choose my games and see how things pan out, I love my club however I have simply had enough of the blind following I have given year in and year out.

Think Gentle probably didn't do enough in the two seasons and maybe did justify getting rid but just don't get replacing him with less experience whether from Hull or not. Also fed up of perceived player power if I was AP I would make certain players free to talk to clubs to show we wont accept poor standards set like Thursday. The attitude of some players is awful when they pick and choose when they want to play .

John Kear is an excellent technical coach and would make an ideal assistant. He was probably the best signing Bomber ever made.

Why are people thinking Pearson is being badly advised or has lost his marbles?
Its his club and his money and he is a successful man in his own right, I'm certain he wouldn't act with folly as its not in his financial interest. Maybe he has actually first hand seen Radders coaching skills and believes he can do a job. Only time will tell but instead of all this doom and gloom why not approach this new era with optimism until proven otherwise.
For what its worth talking to a coach at the club he also did not rate gentle and actually said agar was the better coach and if agar had the support and backing of Pearson and not Kath things would have been different.
All I'm saying is keep an open mind and Radders (should it be him) a chance before pulling the man apart.

I was told today, that a family member of Radford’s has said, Lee has honestly not even been approach about the job.

We'll if all these rumours are true then I feel very underwhelmed. I feel sorry for Peter Gentle because the club needed completely turning round in culture and set up and to all intense and purpose this is happening so for this I say thank you. As for the replacements being touted then AP must have had his pants down.

If this is a complete root and branch shake up then please AP throw out these bad apples that are ruining our club. Yes we are desperate for success but show me a clubs set of fans that are not? This is most definitely the most important decision you have had to make since taking over and could make or brake your resolve and many a supporter alike. For the sake of many factors make the correct choice

Taking the rumours out of the equation, if AP has made this decision based on results on the pitch then I'm not sure Gentle did enough this year to secure his position for another year as harsh as that may sound. I'm not saying I agree with this, I'm just offering a theory...

Okay, he got us to Wembley which is a great achievement and is a sign of progress but in terms of the league we are no better off than last year. In fact you could argue that we have gone slightly backwards as we finished with four less points. And the gap between our best and worst performances hasn't improved either. So whilst our CC run will have worked in Gentle's favour, the league and performances worked against him. When weighed up AP may have felt that not enough progress was made.

At the end of the day pearson has made his decision,rightly or wrongly and as he pays the bills its his right.There has to be a lot more to this situation than meets the eye,3 months ago there was an article I believe it was in the daily star saying pearson will be getting rid of gentle whatever happens and lo and behold he was right.Is he just a good guesser or was this situation cut and dried a while ago.Mcrae said there is a cancer at the club,was it gentle or is the cancer still there,all very cloak and dagger !

The cancer quote was from years ago I believe. Back when McRae was coach. Had nothing to do with Gentle.
