What a player Jarryd Hayne is! PLays as a fullback when defending then as a 7 (to all intents and purposes) when attacking. Would love him at Hull..

Just out of interest - I watch most of the games in NRL - love it - Thanks Premier Sports. Dont you all think though that everything that happens in our game happens all the time over there. I cant believe how many times players drop the ball as they are about to play it - knock ons - forward passes - Refs cockups- but so many super stars who just take your breath away - Jarryd Hayne for one. These guys just make it for me. As some-one said earlier Sam Burgess he was awesome playing for a losing team on Friday - but Rabbits - Phil Gould and Sterlo sure do love him. Hope he stays for a few more years and becomes an English Legend.

I don't think that they are that far ahead on the whole, it's just that they have, probably 20-30 players that are just so far ahead of our best it's untrue.
The standard of rugby isn't much different, did you watch the Raiders Vs Newcastle? Think even we could of put 50 on the knights.

Also a big difference is in OZ its their biggest sport so more people play it so when it comes to youth + reserves they have maybe 5 , 6 top players for each position

Dont disagree at all - just that they have more superstars than us. The commentators dont bull up certain players also - Just wait while Friday will Tom Briscoe be mentioned in the same breath as Sam Tomkins!! Stevo and Eddie do our game no service as far as I am concerned -but of course this is another argument.

What's his official position? I've seen him wing and FB (wing for Oz) he looks equally devastating in both positions but surely he's too good to have on the wing were he can be isolated for much if the game.

1 or 6. Personally i like him at 1, he struggled when he had a run of games at 6.

Fullback, he can then kill the opposition with his kick returns and also come into the line on attack whenever he wants. Absolutely lightening quick!

Hayne is better at full back but for me hasn't performed to his best in the big games and would rather have Billy Slater

I wouldnt mind Nathan Gardner, he is like a (Young!!!) Slater. They (NRL) seem to have so much young talent it's untrue, I recall a Broncos game when they had 10 players 22 or younger and just got beat in the last minute.

I watch every available NRL game and feel that they make a lot less mistakes than Super League teams. The Wigan V Warr gae the other week had 10 penalties and 14 handling errors in the first 14mins. Now i know it was wet but... I have watched some NRL games and its 1 penalty before half time, meaning the pace is relentless.

I get 3-4 NRL games a week over here (Canada) per week..and love it (Thanks Setanta). Slater, Hayne and Gardner are outstanding fullbacks but wouldnt you love Ben Barba at 6 next season or even the chunky monkey Jamie Soward (fastest man in the world) in the half backs....plus Shillington alongside O`Meley in the front row.

Barba is raw but jeez he scores for fun...Soward`s goal-kicking makes me pish though...class !!!
Big Jamal, Thaiday would all be a hit over there.....as well as Ben Hannant.

Luke Priddis to replace Berro would suit me next year with Ryan to play with Fitz in the back row.
Rabbits is sure Ryan is going over to SL next year...where... who knows !!
