was in hull at the weekens so took my daughter to see the old place sad to see it in such a state also sad to see all the sweet shops boarded up was going to get 1/4 of sports mixtures for old times sake but hey times move on i suppose....oh n 1 more thing WTF IS THAT BIG WATER FEATURE ON THE ROUNDABOUT ALL ABOUT???? thoght i had time warped from beruit to paris!!

Remember the day Gavin Miller left Rovers to go home and giggsy broke the news to us all in Threepenny's.
He came pushing his way to the top of the stand and without pausing for breath he spurted out to everyone-Millers f*!!*d off baz, redandwhitebarstewardsgonehome(all one word).A mystery jogger on Anlaby Road just told me baz.

remember been in the threpennies in the seventies for a challenge cup derby game, come kick off time the place was well full and me and my mates was right in the thick of it, think it was quite early in the game when hull went over for a try and the threpnee standers went mental with joy, in a split second i went from near the top of the stand to been on my near the bottom with what seemed like hundreds of fans on top of me then the speedway fence collapsed under the pressure spilling lots on to track, cant remember if anyone was injured but as normal chaos was restored and we went back to our places in the stand me and my mates found the incident highly hilarious for some strange reason
