is green fit? if so him masi and tugut who didn't play many min, also taylor didn't play many min so we can rotate the forwards, maybe give Kelly a rest? look to get griffin in the 17 also, we have a good squad maybe the time to use it?

I would probably look at giving Carlos a rest and maybe Shaul and Washy

we've been doing bits of rotation in recent weeks, mini was rested one game, houghton's illness gave him a week off, green out for a couple etc. i wouldn't be surprised if Kelly sits this one out and maybe manu.

radford knows he can trust the likes of fash, downs, and masi to step in and do a job now so it gives him a bit more leeway when it comes to resting players. Logan is also on the comeback trail i believe

not so sure the outside backs like to be rested as much as the engine room - some are chasing top try scorer kudos and like to play every game

If sneyd is fit I'd give him and connor a go and rest kelly. Other option is to sit fonua out who had a tough game after a long spell out. Not sure we should mess with the forwards unless green is fit and maybe give fash a break if he is.

Wakey will be tough opposition despite any injuries. They won at salford a couple of weeks back with plenty out injured

I don't understand we're all this resting players has come from . Ok it was warm against cas on Sunday but it's starting to get to the business end of the season now and every point is crucial and so is gaining momentum. Most of our key players have had plenty of time out through injury and with some important games coming up I'd look to be playing our strongest team every week now .

I agree, play the strongest team, need a win on Friday and have 3 tough away games afterwards

Id of agreed with you this time last year, but with the players radfords got at his disposal and the way we finished last season , I think its obvious we need to use the full squad , dont think anyones suggesting massive changes, but if anyone as a knock or are fatigued , rest them and trust in the fringe players, those same fring players that have got our season back on track after a rough patch

Maybe slot Connor in at FB if Sneyd's back and give Shaul a rest.

No not at all. Just looked and he's played 20 games, which I think is all of them, and presumably he started them all. 3 and a half months to go potentially, just think he's a candidate to have a week off.

shaul is in really good form and getting back to his best so I see no reason to leave him out. manu looks like he's gone 12 rounds with anthony joshua most games so I'd give him a week off if possible but most of the rest of the forwards haven't played consistently for the last few weeks other than fash and turgut. kelly gets a lot of traffic his way and gets hammered in offence so I'd rest him if possible. The outside backs did plenty with ball in hand but don't do the defensive work so all will be OK but it's whether we bring griffin back in or not

Conner is in fine form - no way should we rest him for Sneyd (who im also a big fan of)

Got to play strongest team possible for me until we are guaranteed top 4.
4th v 5th this week with only 1 point between us so talk of resting players for this is ridiculous unless they're carrying injuries.
Sneyd needs to be patient and not put straight back in for me. Connor playing well in the halves, team playing well of late why shuffle it around to accommodate Sneyd just yet.
We cannot underestimate Wakey even with a full strength team.

Dont think its anything to do with underestimating wakey, its about keeping the squad fresh, and to be honest what is our best team at the minute, everyones playing well, or are you just going on names and reputation, whilst I agree about connor, I still think we need to get snyed back in as soon as possible, him and kelly was combining well before his injury

If anything I'd be tempted to rest Kelly and go with Sneyd/Connor, but it's a great dilemma to have.

What is the point of keeping a squad fresh but finish outside the top 4?
Achieve that objective first then if possible manage the rest.
Names and reputation count for nothing. Your strongest team is your strongest team based on form and team cohesion.
But if you're being pedantic how would you pick a team for the 1st game of a season if not on name and reputation.
Connor and Kelly working equally as well so I'd want to maintain the current balance.
It also shows that if you're playing well you keep your place and no injured player can just waltz back into the first team. Places are earned on merit creating competition and improved individual performances.

You talk like im suggesting we throw the game against wakefield to keep the team fresh, I think resting players carrying knocks or are fatigued, especially after the last few weeks busy schedule, and the way players have played when brought in, wouldn't have a negative affect on our performance, and would still result in us getting the points at home to wakefield. Only my opinion of course. Disagree about Snyed to, hes our number 7, and will be unless injured, so no point leaving him on the side lines, get him back in rapid, harsh on connor, but I prefer him in the anyway
