Good luck to the guy. He's been a great player for us and we'll all remember some amazing moments from him, whether it's a try he's made out of nowhere or a massive tackle by him. I can't embed it on here but if you go over to youtube and search for a video called "tom briscoe "the rocket" " then you'll find a really nice video a fan made earlier this year.

I hope him the best in future. I hope he's gotten an NRL deal as I'd hate to see him playing against us in Super League. I think he's been drastically underused by us when you consider his talents so I'm excited to see how high he can reach.

Didn't notice anything different tbh. Adam made a speech at the beginning which was made in a serious tone, but Clarky did what Clarky always does and sends people up which had people in stiches, (especially the pic of Ganson as God being worshipped by Hull Fans

) they players were all in a good mood too. Gentles family were all there and they seemed to enjoy themselves, taking plenty of pics, so all in all a good night.

Oh good at least it sounds like the club and players ain't given up like a lot on here!

2 of his best moments for me are the 70m try against Leeds at home, and the try saving tackle on Peter Fox.

Got a feeling he'll be at Wigan replacing Richards, or playing Kick and Clap.

Don't think Leeds need him with Ryan Hall and Ben Jones Bishop.

But they have just re signed Kevin Penny. That screams to me that they've lost out on a signing, and better find some back up.

BJB might have signed for Wire if Briscoe went to Leeds. Briscoe to Wigan, BJB staying put, and Wire signed Penny because BJB move didn't come off.

I could be wrong...

BJB to replace Hodgson at wire is the rumour, as BJB is a fullback playing on the wing.

That could make sense then. I just thought Penny was a strange signing...

Good luck Tom, wherever you go. Please don't come back to haunt us though. I still smile about the famous "Peter Fox" tackle at the KC. I was sitting about 6 feet from a Dobbins fan who thought they'd won the match. His face and reaction when Tom pulled off that tackle was worth the admission money on its own.

It's a big loss for us. Good luck to him. I have no doubt he will improve once he is partnered with an intelligent centre who can pick a pass. I fear he wil haunt us for years to come
