Many on here have stated many times that Mcnamara is not yet ready to be a first choice 7, well unfortunately you'll see him there for most of the season as Gale and Reynolds will spend most of the season sat watching, Luke Gale is not going to help with the season pass push either in fact just the opposite sadly. |

Sneyd is a dead set FC legend. 2 Lance Todds, 4 MoMs in 2 stunning cup campaigns and brilliant goal kicker. We would not have won at Wembley, never mind go back to back there, without him. No doubt his effectiveness has been reduced over more recent seasons, but we will really miss his goal kicking. Not a Gale fan but a former Man of Steel..could be worse but definitely concerns over his injury record. Still some ins and outs to come..

Gale is a very good goal kicker
I would also say his short kicking to the in goal for possible tries and repeat set from drop out under the posts is better than Sneyd |

Yes i understand that and Gale would not have been my choice but we have to admit there are not many UK half backs out there.

I asked the question on here a while ago , would people be happy if we signed Gale instead of one of our half’s . This has been agreed for ages , all depended on moving one out . A few more signings yet I reckon , just been patient on moving players out , which will eventually happen . I thought it might have been Reynolds who made way for Gale though .
