Maybe because Nicklas is out for the season with a bad injury the club thought it would be good development for Williams being involved with the first team squad, if he develops well maybe he will be rewarded with a longer deal.

But Williams wasn't deemed good enough 6 weeks ago, I don't know, it just seems fairly obvious to me, they won't have cancelled Nicklas' contract.

John Clarke not in the Warrington squad, no news of any injury, be happy with him on loan, better than Obst IMO.

Every penny counts as far as the cap is concerned. The fact Nicklas now doesn't count on the cap means we can bring Williams in for no extra cost on the cap.

I like Obst, always have. Has always been a thorn in our side even during his days at Whitehaven, plus he can cover the hooking and half back role without a problem.

Obst IMO is a decent hooker but an average halfback.
