I would rather know that the club had a solid halfback pairing (if this particular pairing were to provide that) for four years to build around, than think that we might sign an Australian star next season who would gives us maybe two seasons. Its just too disruptive to the shape of the team, with all players having to re-adapt to a different style of playmaker every other season.

you lot dont want sharp as ur coach, he adopts the same tactics every game, once teams get to know ur style u have had it. why do you think we got rid of him! Now we have a class coach in nathan brown, give us 2 seasons and watch us go!!! good luck for next season tho guys. Your club and supporters are a credit to superleague, unlike ur cross city rivals!

IMO I can see Huddersfield as the suprise team this year. Got a quality coach who loves to attack and some class players on board.
