Yeaman - Being poor this season and think we have had the best out of him

You persistently moan and now your here defending the indefensible. Yeaman is slow, jumps the li e to often, has never protected his winger, is selfish (without the ability to back it up in over 7 years) and cannot pass.

Yeaman is one of the reasons we lag behind the top teams. He once courted attention of Leeds, but they never signed him. He is part of the long term averageness, yet you choose to blame the coach?

Well, try watching the game first hand and then your opinion might have something to it, other wise, stop taking up bandwidth.

I do think some people get to up or down after results . Rather then getting to excited over our run a few weeks ago or to down lately , I do think they was a massive improvement in our effort today . Still way of in attack but defence was ok . Regarding players out , I've said most the season I think lynch has
seen his better days but think he had his best game of the season today . Do think we're stuck with him for 1 more season which I wouldn't mind as long as we sign another prop . Can't believe some people blame galea after every defeat / poor performance , by no way our worst player on show . Do think to improve our chances of winning anything soon though , we do need a top class centre to replace yeaman . Think he's had his best days and can't see what he brings to the team anymore . All he offers now in my eyes is strength near the line , which is no good when facing centres bigger stronger and faster now a days . Yes he finishes the odd move of , but nothing any ordinary centre wouldn't score . Not blaming him for our recent poor form , but to move forward I do think we need better props and a class centre to go with crooks .

If Westerman doesn't do the graft needed that says a lot about the rest of the team.

I really don't know what Hull fans want out of Westerman, he's been our best forward this season, and is in the top 10 in pretty much all of the stats.

Some have a bee in their bonnet about his price tag and expect him to tear it up every week. He is still 23!

Were Westy is concerned I thinks its a problem that I notice with alot of Hull fans over the years. Despite our great reputation in the department many Hull fans do not appreciate what a back row forward does. Its not a glory role, especially now that we don't have ball handling loose men. Its a role that demands graft, and lots of it. The subtle things that team mates notice but the ordinary spectator doesn't are performed by the back rowers. At times I strongly feel that you have to have played that position to fully appreciate it, though I know that would go against some who have never played the game but do appreciate the finer things.
Its also the same with Galea who whilst he would not be in my first 13 certainly gets through the graft and imho rarely lets his teammates down.

Regardless of the irrelevant price tag or his age he has to do better defensively on his own line than he did yesterday. Exactly the same with Tickle last week before anyone jumps on me for bagging Westy It's individual errors that are killing us and all individuals have to up their game to reduce them. Houghton failing to hit the props for a certain try second half, Briscoe failing to diffuse the kick try and then failing again to jump in the right place on our attacking kick, Miller's handling errors, McDonnell's woes. All of these things contribute and need to be improved on.

His decision making was shocking yesterday. Really needs to improve his distribution from dummy half.

I can't understand the Westerman comment. He was arguably our best forward first half of the season and has just hit some bad form over the last month like many others.

Arundel needs time.

Crooks hard to say and Johnson I like but does lack size. We already need to sign two props and losing Lynch would mean signing 3. Not sure there are three good enough.

Lynch is not as good as last year but he's nowhere near as bad as some have made out. Stats tend to back it up to. Thought he was immense when first entering the action on Sunday. His hand off on Ferguson was brilliant. BOOM -get out the way!!
