Always worth paying for a key position. Without a reliable fullback under some of them high balls n his contribution to the 1st try and same in other games this season as well have probably directly resulted in some of the wins we've had, were as Eden has directly cost rovers points.
Old saying 'you get what you pay for' seems apt.

He's been one of our best players consistently this year and I still hear people calling for him to be dropped for Shaul because he doesn't return the ball strongly enough.

It never ceases to amaze me how blinkered some of our fans are. Shaul is no doubt one for the future but he needs to be understudy for a while longer yet - give Shannon a rest if he needs one. At the moment he's looking like he's really enjoying his rugby.

I understand people have differing opinions but I just don't get that. The kid works his socks off always involved wether we have ball in hand or him marshalling the defence.

I was really happy when we signed him and his performances have been very and he's been very consistent. Safe under the high ball and a good defender. The link with DJ is starting to work now which will improve us more as an attacking force.

Good point that....i noticed him in the 2nd half when leeds was pounding us and he was barking out orders and pointing and the defensive line was just going to where he was shouting...superb communication...reminds me a lot of Mckinnon,who was superb.

others have broken the line as a result of his dummy line runs and I've been wishing he be the one receiving the ball from a move and that look to have started now that the back line and is more settled, long may it continue

Regarding the muppets knocking him, it's as though they're not happy unless a FB catches the ball on the full and runs like a wrecking ball at the defensive line for every kick return.

it's similar to those that berated Motu when Briscoe had been greedy and not retained when he changed his mind.

But the same pricks knocked Motu because he lacked in other areas.
