latest is that the police are clearing a route through for the players. as PAC has said the fit players are getting into one car - looks like it could be lynch, crookes, crooks, arundel and westy though ben crooks could have been 18th man

What a joke!!!! Called off because the home players are unable to make it. I'm sorry but as a professional team they should all be together as a team from lunchtime on a game day. No wonder we look like we've just got off a bus at times. What happened to signing players and making sure they were close to the Hull area?
The club from the owner down should be embarrassed by the p!55 poor communication to the fans. I would have expected silence from the old board but expected more from AP.

Just as we sat down they announced it was a 9.15 KO, so we asked to leave & go into the sports bar to stay warm & come back & we was refused & told if you leave you cannot come back, but it is special circumstances plus it is blood freezing, we were still refused, they could have let people back through without using the turnstiles, absolute joke!

Appreciate it's not hulls fault but they shouldn't be taking people's money and the communication should certainly be better.

They were letting people in just after the announcement and not informing them that it was a late KO! Communication was shocking.

Agree fully. They've done themselves absolutely no favours with this. Feel for you and the other fans who've battled through. Not even an official statement on the website yet.

Hull have not part in the running of the stadium - and that includes the folk taking money on the gate.

As far as I can tell from the twitter stream of a journo who was there, the situation was changing constantly as the RFL, Hull, and Bradford tried to negotiate an outcome. Hull could only make an announcement when the RFL made the final decision.

I appreciate you've had a horrible time but I do think you're lashing out without having all the facts.

You'd have a point if Hull were the only party involved in the decision making process. But they weren't.

How could they, how would they police it and ensure the same people were coming back in and that someone wasnt just walking out with a load of passes to let others in.

Was they supposed leave them outside and say ‘sorry we cannot let you in until we know what is happening to the game’?

So Hull,Bulls and RFL are in discussions to try and get the game on....giving players enough time to get here...meanwhile people are still coming in to try and see a game that we are trying to play...what more you want.

I fully understand this was just an unfortunate incident, however I do hope lessons are learnt from this, better communication relayed as quickly as possible right down to the turnstiles so people do not get stuck in a freezing stadium, we also need to consider a hand stamp for special circumstances, surely they never expected fans to sit in a stadium for 3 hrs in such cold conditions, people should have been allowed to leave the stadium to go sit in a warm bar, or their cars etc.

everyone that moaning get a grip they was a serious accerdent were both sides of the m62 was closed. every one caught behound the junjtion was stuck (all of the hull players )they have been there not moving for 4 hours if you stop surporting you team becuase of this then good riddens you not a fan, we dont want such surport. for me this has been waiting to happen on a friday night any that goes away on a friday will relise this,yes the comunication was not good but might it been because they was try to figure out how to get to the players and get them to the kc

They weren't, but it was obvious from Westerman's twitter feed that the game wouldn't be going ahead long before the game was even postponed. They had a stadium full of fans and, when it was their players who weren't present, they should have made a decision far sooner and communicated far better.

They could certainly have communicated with the SMC to ensure that people weren't being admitted to the stadium until the final decision had been reached.

Humberside were unable to get hold of anyone at the club to keep fans posted. A better idea of what was going on would have gone a long way to appeasing those sat shivering in the stadium. And then to refuse people the right to leave and come back just seems churlish.

Hull weren't responsible for the accident, but their handling of it was poor.
