He didn't cost us the game the best team won but my issue is he pulled us up 4 times today for offside which is fine but your not telling that during the 80 mins Huddersfield weren't offside. All anybody wants is consistency, he's another one who's out of his depth.

We got beat fair and square no problem with that, its the way he refereed the game in general towards us, as you say offside, not square, seymour knock on facing his own sticks, there knock on for the 2nd try, 2 injured players head high shots then the gaul to give us 2 penalties at the end

As ever the performance of the referee should be judged in its own right separate from the team's performance.

I liked it when he gave Hudds a 2nd chance to get onside after the Yeamo injury.

He must have borrowed Ganson's Rulebook. On 3 occasions Huddersfield knocked on almost on our line,we pick the ball up and get tackled, he calls advantage. There was none. Then Mckinnon picks the ball up after their knock on, moves forward and is tackled, loosing the ball in the process and he calls play on, advantage given. Again there was no advantage. And don't even mention the Seymour catch. The man's incompetent, to say the least.

Thought Child kept you in the game as long as he could to say he allowed you to be consistently offside and walking off the mark at the PTB but hey let's not let facts get in the way of your blinkers.

I think childs decisions had more of an effect then people think, you could see that some of his decisions left our players totally deflated after the massive effort they had put in to stay in the game his decisions totally killed us off and people say you carnt blame the ref for the defeat but in my eyes it had a massive effect on the result.

Did James Childs make either side drop the ball today ???? Did he tell Tickle and Yeaman along with Lynch and Radford to target little Luke Robinson ? He'd need a chair to get Tickle in the head ! Both players ran in hard at the smallest man on the field and picked up injuries in a fair tackle as did Aspinwall and Lee earlier.

I have never rated Childs never will he's a blown up touch judge but just to show it wasn't all one way he blew the whistle to stop Grix taking a tap 20 and when Grix dropped it gave a head and scrum to you !!!
