Well thank you guys - you have finally done it. I have been an avid reader of this site for the last 4 years enjoying most of the banter and occasionally posting. But now I have to say you have all gone too far with your negativity. The ridicule of any positive comments has forced away most if not all reasonable posters.
Agar has to give a weekly comment/story to the HDM todays is about the form of the team - whatever he said you would have ridiculed - if he said a top four team I can imagine the comments. I am not commenting about Agar because (a) whats the point and (b) This rhetoric is not about Agar it is about you the posters.
If we win it is against a poor team if we lose we should be beating "teams like Castleford". Grow up and smell the coffee Super League is a very even sport these days.
As a pensioner I wonder what your attitudes to normal life is and your "perfectly" run lives. Sacking Agar at the moment would be like having the maniacs take charge of the assylum.

Really, seems to me that the population of the boards is pretty much as it has been for years.



He doesn't "have" to give them anything, and he certainly doesn't have to give them this kind of garbage, you complain people are ridiculing him, that's because his comments are rediculous.


I don't think anyone has said we won because the other sides have been poor, people have commented, quite correctly, that our performances still haven't been good enough.



But that is the thing, it really isn't, only L**ds are in a financial position comparable to FC, other clubs have less money but are enjoying much more success, and people are questioning why that is and what can be done about it.



I doubt any of us have "perfectly run lives", but we can see what is wrong at Hull FC at the moment, we're as entitled to our opinions as you are, and the comment about being a pensioner is irrelevant, opinions are no more or less valid in proportion to how many years you or I have been alive.

The lunatics are already in full control, that's what our problem is.


Views and opinions are no more or less realistic, it just depends if you agree or disagree with them, you obviously disagree, which is your right.



Well, we want a successful and entertaining Hull FC side, and I don't think many people care how that comes about.

Agar has had way more then enough time to show us he is the real deal. And lets be honest he is very poor coach and we have seemed to have gone backwards this year ironically when we have had very few injuries and this has been his team. Add to the fact we have had to panic buy into the season because they couldnt attract there number one targets and crashing out the cup at the first attempt and lets not forget when we finally get to the play offs getting knocked out by our arch enemy with a gutless display and people still think he should be given more time.

Does anyone (other than the obvious individual who was himself saying agar needed to go a few weeks ago) actually still believe that agar is the right coach for the club?

I think if you sat Agar down and he could be 100% honest he knows he isn't the right coach for the club, someone stated once that Agar had said he'd walk if he didn't think he was taking the club forward, I assume he's tying his shoelaces up in readiness for Saturday, he can take a nice walk into the Pyrenees.

And he isn't earning 2 grand a week, that might be what we're paying him, but he is "earning" very little at the moment.

Long term no, but I dont see any benefit of getting rid mid season when seemingly the only available replacements are Noble, McNamara and Cullen. We have seen a marked improvement in our style of play in recent weeks so unless we have a genuine top class coach ready to to step in then I am happy to see things play out for a few more weeks. Rather than rushing in and ending up with another coach who, in a years time, the fans want rid of again.

So how long do we persist with a coach you've acknowledged isn't right for the club? Do we let him see out the season and be in charge of 2012 recruitment? Do we let him see out his contract and see another season down the pan? I think the season is gone anyway so get rid now and appoint someone temporarily whilst we look for the right man who can then be involved in next year's recruitment

hey leave davros alone, he has a few valid points imo, as have the others who have clearly upset him, come on guys theres a lot on here who seem to revel in hulls poor form,plus theres a lot who have very valid points about agar,but it seems even when we win theres so much negitivty about, i came home from the bradford game in a good mood,came on here and you would have though by some that we had got beat by bramley,think about it lol,

A 'fellow Hull fan' whose only contribution to this thread was a whining hissy fit about how he could no longer stand it any more and simply had to leave the forum. There are plenty of overly negative posters on here, and a few overly positive ones. Most, however, lie in the many grey areas between. I think it's utter twaddle. I can only think of one or two posters that might come across that way, but I don't believe for a second that that's what they actually think. To say there are 'lots' who 'revel in Hull's poor form' is total nonsense.

Even the one or two who appear "happy" with losses aren't actually happy, they are happy that it might force the situation as far as the coaching is concerned.

It's a double edge sword, I want FC to win because I am a fan, but the reality is that every win cememnts Agar's position for that little bit longer.

Exactly. To say they're 'revelling' in our poor run is miles wide of the mark. I'm sure that, to a man, they'd prefer it if we were playing exciting rugby and looking like we might stand a chance of winning something.
