I usually sit around halfway up the stand in block 16(unreserved).is this meaning i could have to sit at the front every game,or will i get a choice of where i want my seat to be?

This will make it difficult for my family to sit together now.
It's not worthwhile having a season pass if I go away to sea for about half the season and even if I go when I come back then I'll not be able to sit with my family. I really like the atmosphere in the east stand but it looks like West stand unreserved for us next year! I hope I'm not too much a ruffian for that stand


I can understand why the club are doing this, from both the points they raised in the letter.

I can fully understand why the club are doing this (removing chav corner and all that), the problem I have is that the missus and rest of the family will all buy their passes and sit together, but when i get back from sea i will have to sit alone!

I know that I could try and make them all move to the West stand, but we enjoy sitting in the east stand and have done since the move to the KC.

(I know this is a purely selfish moan and that not too many people will be in the same situation by the way!!

My Dad had a problem like this last year, he got around it by getting a kids pass in his old seat, when he couldn't go we used the seat for my son.He also then got to use his unused tickets to allow a friend to a game. The club could still offer different prices too as the current reserved ones could be classed as premium seats being in the central 3rd of the pitch

Good move by the club, they should also make the section at the north end of the west reserved as well to stop chavs switching to that side.

I think it's a good move by the club. It increases the capacity and (hopefully) erradicates the problems in the North East corner.

Hopefully the idiots that go there don't move to the South Stand.

I also received the letter. I've always chosen the unreserved option because I like to be able to change where I sit if we end up near some complete numpties which seems to be happening more often these days. Were now considering moving to the west stand just so we don't run the risk of spending the entire season sat next to s who spout utter rubbish during the game.

I can understand why the club have done it and if I was sat in good spot i'd actually prefer it.

I don't get this it'll remove the chavs from the so called chav corner. What's to stop them buying their passes there?
I'm sure no non chavs will want to sit there and be intimidated by the away chavs.

The fact they will have a designated seat makes it easier to identify who they are and ban them.

If it's for the greater good so be it. Means long distance travellers like me can't sit with their folks on a match day, which is a shame, but there you go.

Im just wondering how the stewards are going to be able to make sure every single person in the east stand are sat in there designated seats and not moving about?

Because then they would be sitting in someone elses seat?

That's the general idea yeah. As the East Stand sold out a few times last season then I'd imagine very few seats will be "empty". Why would the stewards have to make sure your in the right seat anyway? If you have a reserved seat what kind of cretin wouldn't sit in it?

Actually does this mean the end of pay on the turnstyle for the East Stand? Surely you will have to buy a ticket with a seat number on it?

Well if a seat is going to be used as evidence against a culprit,it would be a good idea if the right person was sat in it.
I've got a season pass and only attended about 5 games last season.
Ok someone I know used the pass sometimes when I was away, othertimes no one did. Hence empty seat.
That brings me onto another point. If there are any left over vouchers, where will you get a spare ticket for.Whoever you take won't be able to sit with you.

Assuming that they find an empty seat to sit in the people sat around them will soon know if they regularly sit there or not. Besides which the imbeciles very rarely knock about in 1s or 2s which will make it even more difficult to find empty seats together. Regardless of that, anyone causing trouble now is going to pretty much have to buy a season pass and run the risk of having it taken off them. It also makes it more difficult for groups to congregate together unless they all go buy their passes at the same time.
