I remember that incident well,he just carried on cheering the team

Another time involving him that was funny during a pitch invasion at keithley he spotted the press man clicking away with his camera so he chased him got the camera n jumped on it under the sticks! Lol happy days!

Someone one called Mick ( still sits in South Stand and is often asleep through drink during the game ) who always pushed in at the last minute to get his spot....much the same as I did when I was old enough to !!

When Bradford were sponsored by SGS someone shouted to Ellery, Oy Ellery does SGS stand for Siily Great S..bo ? NOT THESE DAYS !

Now ,now,lets not get too nostalgic

Loads of laughs from some great characters.My favourite time was early eighties and the songs from a section of the crowd lead by a guy called Stan.How they used to think of the lyrics is beyond me.
Happy days and something the sterility of the KC wont ever have IMO.

It is just amazing the place never caught fire with the ritual burning of the Rovers scarf in the rafters every week!!

Then there were the throwing of coins (pieces of silver) onto the pitch near Schofield when he came visiting and the shouts of "in off the Black" when the ball hit Barrends on the head and shot into touch! Totally un Pc but pretty brilliant back then!!

No chance of that.The rafters may have burnt but the rest of it wouldnt have!!!

The stand was soaked with stale pi55!! The best fire prevention method known to man!!

I liked the characters who used to p1ss on your back when you were a little kid or stubbed their cigs out in the trilby of the old fella at the front. Ahhh, those were the days...

talking of throwing coins on the pitch remember when the collection of the day walked round the edge of the pitch with the big bed sheet to catch the monies in & after a few people taking "pot shots" at em they started to weaqr motor bike helmets!!

Without doubt the stand and its characters are sadly missed,but stories will be told for years to come.
I miss the place but accept that the club would not be were we are now had we stayed.Unfortunately time moves on,memories will fade and the new generation will wonder what all the fuss was about.My memories are all good ones,there were characters at all 4 sides of the old place but none as memorable as in 3d,s.

Can you imagine in 20/30 years time 'Chav Corner' reminissing about the time they were thrown out for smuggling in a can of Fosters

I'm going back to late 70's early 80's here, but can anyone remember a fan from the Threepenny's running onto the pitch to clock the ref, at the restart after a dodgy try was given against us? I remember it as clear as day, but cant remember the ref or who we was playing!

Cant remeber who the ref was on that occasion but Billy Thomson used to run out ,turn his back on the stand and give us the V,s behind his back.The ref who got clocked was probably Stan Wall,he hated us for some reason,cant think why....

Remember a lad out of threepenny stand pouring the trainers bucket of water over Peter Fox's head after he had been winding the Hull fans up.After that they took the dug outs to the best stand side.

The same Stan Wall who always used to run out with Sean Long's kicking tee,don't know what's happened to him now.
