Dunno des, but I know last week we lost two points, and last night we progressed to a possible money spinner of a Challenge Cup semi/final.

Brilliant all round performance from everyone. Griffin continues to silence the doubters with another workhorse display. Radders needs to emphasize to Bureto the importance of trusting his centre. Two soft tries that could have been avoided.

Hopefully he stays fit and on form. The carry when he just kept walking with three on his back was a sight to see.

Of course. 12 hours after a brilliant cup win, despatching the holders with a 50 point hammering and with our 3rd semi final in 4 years secured, let's divert immediately onto Salford in 7 days' time.

Its rare I would ever say this, and I'll probably get shot down, but for me I believe watching it back again that we would have beaten anyone at home last night. Not perhaps by as many but our game management and structure was quite amazing. That makes such a swing in just 5 days even more difficult to understand really.

I think you're right (about beating anyone last night). Perhaps the best way of coping with it all this year is to just chill out and enjoy the ride! What do you often say, Wilf - it's never easy being a Hull Fc fan!

The losses in question, 2 against teams in 1st and 2nd (employing marquee players) get disproportionate airtime vs the fantastic moments listed above. If you can't savour the good times and seek only to replay the bad, it must make for a right dirge of an experience.

Great result last night, pity the emphasis by some is still on last weeks result, but not really surprising.

It was a great result , But even Radders was still rattled by last weeks result .

You can't change history, its gone. The emphasis should be on the present and future.

Kirk Dixon had to keep dragging them back into the here and now on Humberside after the game. They were more intent on discussing last weeks debacle and whether or not the team will turn up next week. Around 4 times he just asked them to enjoy the performance they'd just witnessed instead of looking for negatives. I don't often listen to Humberside but thought Dixon was very good.

While its frustrating the inconsistency i do think its a worthwhile discussion as long as people dont ignore the good performances, and just focus on the not so good.

Fact is to win a grand final which ha to be the ultimate goal we need to learn to be consistent and not fold under adversity
