You have just contradicted yourself there there...we know it takes longer than 2 yrs...look at Wigan...nearly relegated but did they panic....no..they brought youth through and added experiience....we have enough experiience in the squad and have added Pryce for nxt season.

Under Hudgell Rovers have gone from nowhere to somewhere and the stadium has gone from totally sub-standard to decent. It is a massive achievement because Rovers were right down there with the Batley's and Oldham's but the next step up is maybe even more difficult.

Think Pearson saw the passion and commitment of Radford and believed it was what Hull needed. Now it is probably a matter of pride, Radford was a left field 100% Pearson appointment so to admit Radford is wrong is to admit he himself was wrong. He's not ready to do that yet he will be sometime and when he is he'll dress it up somehow.

You might have to wait until part way through next year though.

I suppose we will see aye . Imo Radders had a few remits set out by AP from the start of season and unless your in the know then we won't know if he's done what was asked/expected of him . I'm staying positive because imo I can see the bigger picture .. 8players who played today came through our youth set up , massive chunk of salary tied up with McDonnell , Arundel and hopefully Miller all been moved on and replaced with better players for next season . I trust AP has now got the right people around him who will not be led down the garden path the same way gentle and McRae led AP .

Knowing Radders personally I really like the guy and would like nothing more than an ex fc player go on to manage a successfull Hull fc team BUT I love hull fc before people think I've got mixed up loyaltys . Great post mate...people want instant success.....I mean,we could have a nut job of a chairman who goes out and splashes the cash on has beens and over-rated thugs,gob it off about top 4 finish yet are nr the bottom and despite signing a marquee player who wants off salary cap and doesn't believe in the youth system and flogs the best 7 in the comp this season and brings in a turnstile on stupid money and can only attract 3,421 fans on a sat night then I'd be worried

I want an utter bast&rd who is universally hated and gets results. A Tony Smith, an Ian Millward, a Wane. Even if he ignores the fans and coaches cynical tactics, I'm sick of getting bullied on the field.

I think every Hull fan would like an ex player managing a successful team made up with predominantly local players but currently it ain't going to happen unless we had a des hasler coaching us.
Radford might be a good bloke but a good head coach he currently isn't.
Every new coach inherits the same problems regardless of what team you take over but it's how you manage it get the best out of those resources Radford isn't doing that.
I was right behind his appointment from the start and wanted him to do well but he's proven he's out of his depth so far.

It makes no difference this season that we have a chunk of salary cap tied up in players that Radford doesn't want.
Radford started the season optimistic, but the team has gone backwards under his leadership.
Tinkering with the line up all the time because a player misses tackles,or doesn't perform as expected certainly doesn't help team morale or player confidence when certain favourites continue in the side despite poor form or performance.
Lets see if penalty machine Horne is in the side next week following another poor performance.
Say what you like about Carvell but a fit Carvell brought the best out of Paea.
A good coach would have the players passing the ball accurately with speed and using speed and power as a cut out pass.
We are still clueless in the opposition 20 and our kicking game has not improved even though Radford recognises this.
I have no faith in a coach who despite Knowing our current deficiencies in these areas has not been able to improve them.We may not have the most gifted of players but a good coach can improve players.

Why is it always "if you don't have a rant and spit your dummy you must be happy with crap results"? That's just a failure of critical thinking - a classic False Dichotomy.

agree completely! Not even the best coach in the world would get this squad a trophy but theyd at least get it to mid table, we've gone backwards in all aspects under Radford

Lack of quality in halves, sure. Failure to compensate through structure, quick PTBs, game plan, dummy runners, percentage plays? Oh yes. Story of the season.
