Pauli Pauli signs for York on 1 year deal. To be honest wouldn't have been a bad option on a one year deal if we were struggling to get another forward so I would assume the club have got the player BH wants whether that's Evans, Ah Mau or A N Other.

At least AP & BH haven't just paid lip service they've gone about and made the difficult changes that were and are needed as much as they can and as a fan that's all you can ask. In making the changes I think it will also be a big wake up call to some players that poor performances are not and will not be tolerated whether you're a young gun or a marquee player within the squad.

Maybe the delay in season passes , is to do with us not knowing where we’ll be playing our home games next season !

Not sure if it means they've gone or not more likely that they are just not in the clubs or coaches plans so makes no odds if they have a good pre season or not. Its a shame the JJ just didn't manage to step up and take the chance and unfortunately for Josh Bowden sadly injuries just got the better of him both physically and mentally as he seemed to be wary in contact.

That’s what I thought, he’ll be playing catch up as soon as he gets back

Whilst I don’t disagree with you, is AP in a position to just pay off Reynolds, in what is probably a very considerable deal, with hindsight this hasn’t been the best bit of business we’ve completed, he will be 33 next year, played 14 games for us, and has now a very bad injury, which obviously isn’t possible to foresee.

In essence this has probably been a signing with Hodgson agreement, and whilst we needed strengthening in the halves, while not being a knee jerk reaction, it’s looking very disappointing now.

It makes me wonder, when we get in these negotiations for star quality players, we are not being guided correctly, injury does happen, as with say Bevan French, but the difference between the two players is poles apart, is French paid that much more than Reynolds, I don’t pretend to know.

Perhaps because it’s not a recurrence of his original knee injury but a similar injury to his other knee, both he and the club feels he can go round again. I did read when he got the injury, is it an ACL, he stated that, if it had been a recurrence of his original injury he would have retired, is this where the rumours started?

.... It was an MCL injury, which is not usually as bad as the ACL.

I seem to remember our coach saying his medial ligament had fully detached, sounded extremely unpleasant.
