I think you will still get the older Aussies who cannot get an NRL contract but have reasonably high stock across here but not players of the Cooper Cronk calibre.

Cronk isn't a young pup anymore, he's in the age group of players who come across now.

But his stock is too high in Aus for him to come over, given the changes that make the UK less attractive, surely?

Too many SL clubs chasing too few players. Reduce it back to 12 and re-introduce P&R. The national team has got worse since it was scrapped and clubs are still cramming their squads with aussies

Probably, alot depends on him personally.

His body might be starting to hurt, he might get offered a 4 year deal instead of a 2 in the nrl, he may want to travel.

Big problems with HMRC that could have catastrophic consequences for some clubs and possibly the sport as a whole. Hopefully the worst case scenarios have been exaggerated or can be avoided.

Most clubs are living way beyond their means. The RFL need to get to grips with it

They should have never got rid of the 50% rule.

They had all the rules in place and for what ever reason they let clubs do what they want.
