A great win and some excellent performances against a pretty much full strength Wigan team, some of whom had a week off last round.

Great to see Adam Swift back and scoring tries. Connor excellent - rubbishing the lie that he never performs against top teams. Ma'u, Satae and Sao immense.

Still work to be done and a run of away games to come. Gale and Reynolds will hopefully get a god run together.

I won't be so churlish to name our worst players after scoring six tries against the Cup finalists and a top three team.

If I was going to grumble I would complain about having nobody at dummy half...again.
Gale also needs to work on his in play kicking but hopefully a run of games will improve that. Assuming he doesn't get banned for kicking the ball away with 1 second remaining

It was an important win and probably one of the best home games we’ve seen in a long long time. Apart from Gales poor kicking game it was hard to fault anyone.

I'll stand by it, I thought Gale and Reynold did alright. A way away from MotM performances but they did what was needed.

Giving away penalties late in the count and dropping the ball in the tackle kept Wigan in it. Without that we'd have beaten by a comfortable margin.

Looked like Sao, Lane and Connor were injured. A week off has come at a good time.

Ref was so inconsistent, gave penaltys to Wigan 4 sets on the trot all for really innocuous things. Wigan spoiling as usual but got away with it.

We played as a unit. Great graft, but sorry Gale was brought In to make us more organised and in moments we still have the school boy brain farts. Why Gale or Houghton arnt over supporting wynnes break or there for the play the ball needs to be addressed, as does the Reynolds drop goal attempt.

Bit better organisation and 2 better half backs and wel push on.

Great afternoon's entertainment was it 5 assists for Jake? Carlos back to his best works so hard carrying the ball out of defence. Better from Reynolds and gale hopefully a few games together will see a bit improvement. Usual forwards stood out but must say was impressed with Evans his work rate in defence is so good. Would liked to have seen Joey replace Danny late on for some speed around the ruck but looks like injuries stopped that happening. Well done every single fan who was there superb atmosphere

Really enjoyable performance should have won with a bit to spare. Gale and Reynolds were ok but we need more from them.

So that we are on your planet can you name them because apart from a couple pointing out some obvious brain farts i cant see any.
There are criticisms but for me the only real negative was the injury to Ligi Sao who could be missing for several weeks

I think Gale will be fine, he was on 10/12 before today. Three missed this afternoon but all from the touchline. Maybe lacked a bit of match condition goal kicking.

Gale has been a super league scrum half how long now with different teams? You shouldn’t need a run of games to work on your kicking game, it should come natural after all this time knowing where you are on the field which is the best time to kick etc.

If you ask me the next time we lose i have no problem naming our best players in my opinion.
Its obvious you have identified some of our worst players today yet you wont name them for some reason and i suggested you dont want to receive and criticism or get banished from the posse.

No I hadn't identified our worst players, I was paraphrasing another poster.

Always enjoy winning against Wigan. Hate playing them though, no matter how far infront you get they'll always peg you back.

The Wynne ptb error was the only real gripe for me. Miscommunication with Swift and Gale, and to concede a try not long after was frustrating.

Plenty of positives though. Evans had his best game, Carlos Ma'u, Connor, Wynne all very good. To be honest all 17 contributed well.

Thought we got the rub of the green ref wise.

Glad we seem to have sorted our home form out too. Something that has plagued us since 2018.

We've all been to too many home games where you can hear a pin drop. It was a world away from that today.
