Have you ever heard read about or even experienced a company in financial difficulties or even going bust. Then they get taken over, the new bosses overhaul the staff, the systems of work, make themselves more streamlined were possible and generate new means of income etc. Same company further down the line then becomes solid n profitable again even though it's in the same location selling the same product.
Same can happen to a sports club.

Streamline as in make the things you do more efficient, change suppliers ,providers etc. We also have a few positions removed behind the scenes.

As ever since fans of both teams can remember (even those that went in the 80s) hull FC have thrashed hull kr in the pass sales category. Every club in the league would want to sell more but the facts are fewer passes are being sold across the board. But as sure as eggs are eggs hull FC are well ahead of kr circa 100 % because FC are the biggest club in hull and always have been and will be. FC also have a better ground and experience together with a real investor at the helm as opposed to someone from Narnia. FC will always be the biggest club in hull thankfully any chatter from irrelevant no names from green eyed clubs in the east will always be nothing more than irrelevant background noise.

exactly, and what i find amazing is that rovers fans come on here crowing about our sales being down, yet theirs are down by 20% which is a far higher percentage drop than ours. i'm not sure how many we sold last year but assume it was 9000 plus. a 20 per cent drop from 9000 would be 7200, so ours are nowhere near as bad

According to the club own website by 23rd December 2011 we were "approaching" 8,000 pass sales. There no way we then sold almost 2,000 before the season started. A total of 8,900 sounds about right to me.
