Well we seem to be into the mid season run I mentioned, got a few of my predicted wins wrong but we're on Target for my 7th place finish.

Of course thats the aim, but looking at it 12 out of 14 would be good ( 2 losses being Saints & Leeds away) .

Wigan & Wire at home will be tough but should be winnable if we keep good form and have no cup distractions.

I think people are getting carried away, personally. Huddersfield will be a big game to gauge expectations for the rest of the season.

Agree. Our recent form has seen us beat 2 of the worst teams in SL, draw to an understrength saints team after opening up a big lead and a good win at warrington. Problem we have after our dire start is that pretty much every game is now a must win game

I'd call it 1 point more than we got in the corresponding games last season tom, plus rovers are rubbish and we should have beaten a weakened saints side, particularly after opening up a big lead. To date, I think we're 5 points down so far this year on the corresponding fixtures last year

It's a thin line isn't it ? I mean - I thought people got a bit carried away early season as well.

I make it 3, we lost to Cas, Wakey and Catalans and drew to Saints so thats 7 points dropped.

But we also beat Wire and Salford so thats 4 gained.

I'd not taken included salford, my mistake. the point stands that the odd isolated win is meaningless unless we start to show some consistency and the ability to win the big games

Well, the consistency has been there for 5 games 3 of which, Saints, Wire, and Them you could label as big?

We're getting better definitely, but 3 points from a possible 10 against the teams who finished above us last season isn't much of an indication of anything yet.

Whilst the derby may be an important game to the fans, rovers are absolutely dire this year and haven't picked up a point away since they beat us in cardiff so it was a game we should have expected to win
