Less pubs/Bars=Less Hull fans, something a club with a 5k support struggling for a franchise can't afford.
When did Wakey get fined for fans throwing bottles at other fans?
If that did happen, the solution is to put all drinks in plastic cups, like any pub who had trouble after England matches during the world cup.
I went to the foresters arms at the otherside of the ground, so had no problem getting a couple of drinks in before the game, its only a 5 min walk from the ground. Wasn't Duke of York also open? |

I went to 2 pubs, 5 minute walk away from the ground... I got drunk, I didn't watch the game because I was drunk. I think I win.

If we (Wakey) do get the new ground, it will be perfect for the Hull supporters. Straight off the M62, get the coaches parked up and walk down into Stanley. Plenty of pubs.

We didnt.
You can only get drinks in platic bottles or glasses in the bars. Hull Fans will have been able to get a drink from the outside bar or bottle bars I assume?
I think the Duke of York was open so thats 2 bars 5 mins away anyway isnt it? |

Having supported them for more years than i dare to remember and getting used to regularly having smoke blown up my ar$e by the club,i can also understand why people would be cynical.
However YorkCourt have a history of this type of development,there are many different partners involved and its supported(but not funded)by the council.Thousands have already been spent at this relatively early stage.I also dont believe anyone has that kind of money to throw away in some elaborate plan just so Wakey can get a license.If PP is granted i believe it will happen.
If it doesnt we are shafted,the club know it and the supporters know it.We will have no one but ourselves to blame.'"

He was annoyed, as I was, as we couldn't even get in the conservative club! We went in the club bar at the ground for years on end without issue, and that should be opened to away fans again. |
