Yes, he definately has the ability to pass a ball and quickly as he did on a couple of occasions tonight. Another who needs to work on his positioning but hopefully that will improve with time.

Is it just me that thought that apart from the first ten minutes or so he was pretty poor? Occaisional good move, but naff overall? Kept flying out of the line when there was no need, and making nothing out of it, too.

Thought he took his tries well but still doesn't convince me and does silly stuff like just throwing the ball away , his tackling isn't a problem its his positional sense and still needs a lot of work

Just you....only shot out of the line once...put in 2 very good tackles in 1st half...dropped their no12 in the 2nd half...ran the ball back strongly.....you are looking for things that arent there.

If it had been Briscoe on that wing tonight....he wouldnt have done anything different.

That's something that stood out for me too, actually. Can't say I can recall him ever running as hard into the tackle as he did tonight.

Looked like he had a point to prove tonight and TBF I think he had a good game. Show him the try line and he knows how to finish and I agree he ran the ball back straight and direct.

i too thought he did ok, he was never at fault for their first try, he took the dummy and knew the defence was coming across, made the right choice but they still scored. he played ok for me

He took the winger, Yeaman took the centre, one of their 3 inside runners scored the try. Nothing either Hall or Yeaman could have done about it IMO, just a well worked try from Salford.

If anything Longy shot out the line to leave the massive gap in the first place.

Yeah, missed the interception. TBF though, it was a decent long pass out wide, and as I say they finished it well. As soon as the ball was past Long they were always favourites to score.

Really played with some oomph tonight. Strong running back with the ball; nice interception in 2nd half which then led to us getting a relieving penalty; drew a relieving penalty in the first half as well and won me a bet at 12/1 on him getting the first try. Very happy with the lad.

He IS the answer to our centre problems!

Not talking about sides, or even a difference between wing or centre. His defence is weak and not to be trusted, and apparently he has no motivation to improve on his defence.

But by not talking about sides i think there's a key point been missed. Hally looks massively more comfortable playing left centre or left wing. His opportunities to play at that side have been hugely limited. His defence tonight was spot on imo.

Ok - I agree but I am sure he will get better/stronger - I am pleased to say after many years of watching young stars like Mcguire,Burrows etc we at last have some of our own - we just need Hemmings and Stephenson to realise
